This could be an informative race with a view to next year's Classics, and the Aidan O'Brien-trained MILWAUKEE fits the bill. Entered in the Vertem Futurity later this month, the son of Justify looks set to follow a similar path to stablemate Luxembourg, who landed that contest last year before his run in the 2,000 Guineas. The Derby could be in his sights, too, but connections will be hopeful he can pass this test first. Harsh finished a good fourth on his racecourse debut last month and is fancied to go close with improvement likely, along with 100,000-euro purchase Trachonitus. North Dorset shouldn't be underestimated either.

A case can be made for most of these, but GOZEN kept on strongly to score on her racecourse bow last month and gets the nod. The fact she managed to beat Basil Martini, who has since won a Group 3, surely merits a lot of respect and the step up in trip should not faze her. Clever And Cool finished a far from disgraced fourth at this level most recently and is feared, along with Be Happy.

A case can be made for plenty of these but preference is for MY EYES ADORE YOU, who got off the mark over C&D earlier in the year. The daughter of Profitable arguably sets the standard based on her encouraging effort in Group 3 company two starts ago, while her most recent performance at this level was also encouraging. Pirate Jenny is already a Listed winner and was only a couple of places behind the selection last time, while Pretty Rebel and Accomplished complete the shortlist.

As is par for the course, this is a typically competitive handicap at the Curragh with plenty of connections arriving here thinking their charge is in with a good shout, and perhaps none more so than those connected to CURRAHEEN PRINCESS. The four-year-old has been progressing nicely this season and after a good second over C&D when last seen, this looks a decent opportunity to go one better. Big Gossey was a winner on his penultimate start over C&D and this drop back to 5f is likely to be a positive, while last-time-out winner Craft Irish is also expected to be on the scene.

A few worth considering in this contest, with the Joseph O'Brien-trained Como Park likely to prove popular after winning on his handicap debut 12 days ago at Down Royal. An 8lb rise is unlikely to prevent him from being competitive, but a chance is taken on MAXINE. She finished a fair sixth at Galway last month and there could be more to come from the filly on her second start for the Emmet Mullins yard. Last-time-out winners Buckman Tavern, Lunar Power and Lord Erskine also merit respect.

FIRSTMAN arrives in fine form having scored at Bellewstown on his latest start and the five-year-old is more than capable of backing that performance up off a 7lb higher mark. Blackpoint is likely to benefit from dropping back in trip after not appearing to get home at Listowel last month. His Tipperary efforts prior would give him a strong chance of being in the mix, while last year's winner Khezaana and Sacchoandvanzetti, who returns from a lengthy absence, complete the shortlist.

Redstone Well was a shock winner of a Cork maiden last time on just his third career start and with possibility of plenty more to come, he's entitled to maximum respect, but slight preference is for KNOCKNAKILLA. Although he's still a maiden after 16 starts, Gerard O'Leary's gelding has been running well in defeat of late and this looks a great opportunity for him to finally get off the mark. A return to a mile looks the right move for San Aer and he could fare best of the rest.

In this competitive contest marginal preference is for PRINCESS SELA, who gets the nod to go one better than her last three outings. The daughter of Slade Power ran on well at Navan last time out and she can record a second career victory with Colin Keane on board. Showmolina decisively dismissed his rivals on his penultimate outing at Navan and he rates the most immediate danger. Sounds Of Spring can relish these conditions and also warrants plenty of respect.
