MISSTHEWIRE takes a drop in class following a respectable third-placed effort over this C&D May 3 and she gets the vote. Cute As An Angel wasn't far away at Pimlico latest and is another to consider, while Its My Pleasure wired her field here last time and is likely to be the one to catch today.
HARBOUR BELLE is on an upward curve and bids for a hat-trick following a brace of mile victories at Penn National. Glorious Raj comes down the claiming ladder and enters calculations, along with Sarah Beaner, who just needs to raise her game slightly to get involved.
Sea Breeze Marco has plenty in her favour, except a three-month absence, but will prove a major player if ready for her return. Heart N Solo is better than her last couple of starts and cannot be ignored, but preference is for RAPID RUNAWAY, who should improve for her comeback run here Apr 30 and has the back form to win at this level.
AMERICAN PRINCE regained the winning thread when dropped to this level over a mile here Apr 30 and he could prove tough to beat today from his favourable post position. Mralwaysatisfied finished third to the selection that day and should be on the premises again, while Sleeping Potion is effective at this level and is unlikely to be far away.
HANG UP CALL looks to be rounding into form and is eligible to improve on his third run back after a lengthy absence. Cutoffs faded badly after duelling for the lead on her latest start, but has less on her plate here and could feature, while Achari comes off the turf and has the back form to get involved in the finish.
Maneuverable was beaten a long way into second at Philadelphia last time, but still holds claims, while Caner Medley had Hemi Inside a length back in third when second over this C&D May 7, but preference is for DATSALLME. The four-year-old failed by a neck to land the spoils at Aqueduct Apr 20 - his first run since the previous July - and improvement could be forthcoming as he makes his debut for Scott Lake.
CASH KING has finished either first or second in each of his last six outings, winning twice, and looks the one they all have to beat today. Windham Chief has the early pace necessary at this track, while My Buddy Frank was caught in the shadow of the post here on his return from a short break and may not be too far away.
Granite Head and This Fleet Is Due represent John Zimmerman and should feature, while Distinct Vision is in winning form and warrants respect on his first start for Mark Shuman. The Lady's Groom is better than his latest foray and can be given a live chance, but WEST VIRGINIA is fancied to overcome a seven-month absence and a return to the form that saw him take second in the Empire Classic Handicap at Belmont back in October could suffice.
