WELL TUNED, a Roscommon bumper winner, makes most appeal on the back of two encouraging efforts at Limerick and Tramore. Both performances were befitting of a horse who won't be long in breaking her maiden tag over obstacles, and John Nicholson turns to talented 7lb claimer Johnny Burke, who is well worth his weight allowance in the saddle. Rough Justice represents leading connections and must be taken seriously, while Pay No Heed isn't without claims if running up to a mark of 102.

Preswell Lad is very much in the autumn of his career now but has never been in better form at the age of 11 and he can make his presence felt reverting to hurdles for this assignment. Mallards In Flight is up 8lb for her Clonmel win 15 days ago and she's another to keep on side, but OVER CHURCH ROAD makes most appeal given she's potentially well treated on her handicap bow based on what she's shown in maiden company so far.

Dream Nolan is interesting on his handicap debut and the market should tell us more about his chances, while Magnetic Force has won here before and he wouldn't be without a squeak if recapturing his best form. The vote goes to KING OF ARAN, though, as the booking of Paul Carberry for his return to the track could be significant. The seven-year-old hasn't been seen in this sphere since breaking his maiden over C&D back in October 2011 and a mark of 96 is exploitable based on that form.

Sarabad is entitled to have his say on proceedings if running up to his timber rating of 116 but the gut feeling is that WICKLOW GOLD will prove too good for him. Willie Mullins' charge finished mid-division in a handicap over hurdles at the Punchestown Festival when last sighted but is expected to improve markedly for the transition to fences and he'll have been well schooled at home. Bose Ikard makes most appeal of the remainder.

HIDDEN PRESENT isn't getting any younger at the age of 12 but is a threat to all here based on his latest C&D performance off 1lb lower, and he has conditions underfoot to suit. Anything like a repeat effort looks sure to see him go close, but keep a close eye on Waterloo Chateau, who beat Preswell Lad (runs earlier on this card) over track and trip two starts ago and remains on a workable mark. Right Strategy can also get involved.

Finea has been third and first in point-to-points since finishing a decent seventh behind Be Positive over the banks course at the Punchestown Festival, and he could go well. Rohan's Pride arrives buoyed by his win at the same fixture last month and must be taken seriously, but SIZING SOLUTION has run well here in beginners' chases and he created a favourable impression when scoring between the flags last time. He could be a class above these on his hunter chase bow.

CROFTON TRAIL failed to justify favouritism in a Kilbeggan bumper three weeks ago, but she came up against a promising Henry de Bromhead inmate that day and given her effort behind Morning Run in a hot bumper at the Punchestown Festival before that, she rates the one they've got to beat. Big Kern is expected to put up most resistance having won between the flags last month, although Sulu Sea represents a shrewd handler and can't be overlooked.
