STAR BURST GALAXY showed promise when in Gauteng so it is a bit surprising that she has been moved to Fairview. The Var filly returns from a beak but could still prove to be the right one over a course and distance that should suit. BOLD ASPEN was not disgraced in his last start and is distance suited. ASHWAL is improving and has a great draw so looks the right one in this race. DOUBLE HAPPINESS returns from a break. She is clearly a bit better than her poor last run. CUTEY ME showed nice promise on debut when running on nicely despite showing signs of inexperience. LADY AWAY showed improved second time out and should contest the finish of this race if she repeats that run.

Verdict

IMPERIAL VELVET nearly always gives of his best but is on a long losing streak. He should contest the finish yet again though. ON THE SIDE was full of running when winning his last start and has a winning chance despite a wide draw. YELLOCLOVER has shown promise in both her wins on the sand at Flamingo Park so it will be interesting to see how he runs on the Polytrack.
