Queen Of Steel supplemented a victory at Leicester with a close second at Southwell last month and she's likely to be in the thick of the action once more. However, a 4lb higher mark does demand further progress and REST IS THE BEST is slightly more appealing. Harriet Dickin's mare has caught the eye on both handicap outings at Chepstow and may have more to offer. Stablemate Man Maid may fare best of the remainder.
Hard to knock the claims of the consistent QUEEN OF STEEL in this. Although drier ground is preferable, she picked up well to win on heav two starts back and still appeals as being on a fair mark. Rest Is The Best ran to form tried in cheekpieces latest and is still lightly raced enough to improve. She rates the danger, although the top one Hellfire Princess could still have a say with the drop in trip set to work in his favour.

Although thwarted in his bid to land a four-timer when a head second over 2m here three weeks ago, EL ROJO GRANDE lost little in defeat. The son of Ocovango looks ready for a return to an extended 2m3f and he may find enough improvement to defy a 3lb rise in the ratings. Boston Joe was underwhelming when pulled up over timber at Chepstow in January, but his previous efforts at this venue make him a live danger. Bangor runner-up Port Or Starboard is a feasible alternative.
EL ROJO GRANDE has been on quite the run of form, winning three in a row to start the year before a narrow miss here las time when bidding for a four-timer. He's up another 3lb but everything looks in his favour for another big effort. Boston Joe failed to run to form when pulled up last time but had earlier been in fair form and the veteran finds himself on a competitive mark these days. Port Or Starboard ran a good race on his chase debut at Bangor and must have a say here also if building on that.

While his jumping lacked fluency, the Haydock Grade 2 fifth WHISKEY YANKEE holds obvious claims dropping in class. That was only the five-year-old's second outing over hurdles and he's fancied to get the better of the reopposing ninth Lon Chaney. Olly Murphy's charge had previously looked progressive when opening his account at Uttoxeter and should keep the selection honest. Soldier For Glory can take the bronze medal.
This looks a match between Lon Chaney and WHISKEY YANKEE. Both struggled at a higher level last time, in the same Grade 2 at Haydock, and choosing between them isn't easy. The selection has course form in bumpers and looked really good on his hurdles debut at Ascot. His yard continues in good form and he's taken to cash in on this drop in grade. Lon Chaney is in a similar boat, having looked good at Uttoxeter two starts back, and it would be no surprise were he to return to winning ways. Soldier For Glory showed ability on hurdles but needs marked improvment to beat the two already mentioned.

FORTUNATE MAN makes a good bit of appeal in this handicap chase taking a drop in class. Fifth last time out in the Eider at Newcastle and third to Pic Roc at Sandown prior to that, the Aintree scorer can get back to winning ways in these calmer waters. Face d'Music arrives in good form and cannot be overlooked under a light weight, while Genietoile also comes into calculations.
Fortunate Man is solid at this level and was outstayed in the Eider Chase at Newcastle latest. Down in trip and grade, he seems sure to go well if this doesn't come too soon, but GENIETOILE is an unexposed 8yo after just three chase outings, running well in defeat on both completed starts, and he looks the sort to prove well suited by this test. Big City Roller was below form over hurdles latest but has looked progressive as a chaser and he's respected also with the ground in his favour.

Jukebox Fury commands attention on his return to action for the in-form Nicky Henderson yard, while Up To Trix will be winning a race like this sooner rather than later. However, it might pay to stick with EL GAVILAN, who is chasing four wins on the spin (all at this track) and seemed to improve for the extra yardage here last time.
Jukebox Fury was progressive when last seen in the spring, winning back-to-back, but those victories came on a sound surface so the ground is a concern back from 12 months off. The 5yo EL GAVILAN has been on a roll himself, winning three in a row at this venue on deep ground, and he looks capable of defying a further 5lb rise. Double Click isn't ruled out lightly down in trip with him down to a fair enough mark now. He hasn't been in the best of form but we know he's capable.

Galatrona impressed between the flags last month and is respected on her Rules bow, likewise Johnny's Belle who boasts a similar profile and Diamond White, who placed at Newcastle. PORT AND BRANDY can send her supporters home smiling, though, on the basis that she brings more point-to-point experience to the table and was a solid third at Warwick on her Rules introduction.
Rules newcomers Johnny's Belle and Galatrona bring plenty of potential and are both worth checking in the betting but Port And Brandy and DIAMOND WHITE have already shown up well in bumpers and it may be worth siding with one of that pair instead. The selection was runner-up in a point and has already finished third in a pair of outings under rules while her stable has hit form.
