ZABAIONE may need the run today but if he is anywhere near fully-fit then he should take all the beating in a race of this nature. Stone Crab and Are We Not Men appear to be the main dangers.
OAKS represents an in-form yard and she has been running consistently well in recent months. That said, Millpoint Creek will not be easy to beat and Daddy's Crazy Girl also holds claims.
Plenty of these have chances but none more so than PRIME MISTRESS, who won well here last time out and she has made the frame in 33 of her 59 starts at this track. Lara and Jealous can fight it out for the places.
SUCKITUPBUSTER is dropping in grade slightly despite being successful last time out and he looks to be the one they all have to beat. The minor money can go the way of Saint Joseph and Berb's Monarchy.
EDEN RIDGE won a $75,000 allowance race at Saratoga back in July and he should relish this drop in grade today. Repent Twice would arguably be the pick of these but he returns from an eight-month break today, while Blugrascat's Smile is another to feature upon the shortlist.
Whitegate has the blinkers on and should do much better now but HAZEN'S NOTCH shaped well last time and his winning turn looks to be very close. Railroad Indian and Winlocs Utopia complete the shortlist.
Blinkers and a drop in trip can make all the difference for GRACE'S JOY, who was third last time behind Hollaback in second at this venue. She can reverse that form, with Soprano expected to grab third.
Bella The Bandit will have her supporters now dropped in grade but CHUMP CHANGE was closing all the way when second last time over a shorter trip and she can land this. Red Rei Rei and Z Lovelee Linda make this a competitive encounter.
TALE OF A SONG clipped heels with a rival last time and couldn't build on his promising debut but this represents an excellent opportunity to show his potential. Silver Notes and Ross Boss will be waiting to take advantage if the selection disappoints.
