Hit Your Stride and Black Mandate are closely matched and must enter calculations, but preference is for PATRON'S HEIDI H, as she finished a good fourth here last time and a repeat effort may well suffice.
CARL'S BIRTHDAY left a lasting impression when making it a winning debut here last month and he's expected to go in again with further improvement anticipated. Ten Carat Rock arrives boasting a similar profile and is shortlisted along with Shirakuma.
TAYLORNATOR appeared to appreciate a change of scenery when bolting up on his first start for new connections and can follow that up if continuing in a similar vein of form. Moonstone Beach beat Celestial Haze to runner-up spot when last sighted and may be able to go one better here.
COMMODUS has been banging loudly on the door recently and can reassert his dominance over Go Giant Bry Go who he has finished ahead of the last twice. Recent scorer Chief Schaghticoke might be able to give the selection the most to think about with confidence presumably buoyed.
ALWAYSINSTILETTOS was an impressive winner over 1m here latest and she will take some stopping if able to reproduce that level of performance. Manero holds a couple of these (Neptune Road and Jazzington) on her last-time-out second and rates the biggest threat.
TALLYS SUNDANCE had Smokin Racer (second), Flightriskcowgirl (third) and Mojito Mint (fourth) all behind when scoring gamely over track and trip last time and she will take some stopping if arriving in the same mood. Smokin Racer and Flightriskcowgirl could be left to fight out minor honours again.
CHANNEL BOY looks to have been found a golden opportunity to follow up his easy track and trip win. He is on an upward curve and looks tough to beat. Mcentagart's Cat can chase him home, while Number Nine is lightly raced and open to more progress.
WISE AWAKE made it three wins on the bounce when running out a comfortable victor here ten days ago and she remains one to keep onside for the time being. Don Six's Number and Ecoach are feared most.
PURGE BIRD was given way too much to do at Presque Isle Downs when last sighted, but the switch back to Finger Lakes will suit him and he can score at the expense of Snap Call and Knock Quietly.
