MIA JULIA (3) has shown improvement of late and was narrowly beaten in a handicap at Deauville last month. She could go one better this time. AMPOLA (1) ran better than her finishing position suggests last time out and should be a lively danger. LADY MELISSA (2) is improving and would not be a surprise winner. MARIE DE PRUSSE (9) is not reliable but did win her penultimate start and can score again if in the same mood.

A very open race. FELICIA STORM (2) has not been at her best of late. She is better judged on a good run at Clairefontaine in August and could win a race like this if finding that level of form. BLANCHE EPINE (4) produced a career-best performance last time out and can go one better. EASTMAN (9) has held form of late and should be a threat. QUI EVIDAMMENT QUI (6) has yet to win but is competitive off this handicap mark.

A very competitive race. HERACLES (4) was only modest in a handicap at Deauville but had some good form before that and can bounce back to win at this level. PENNSYLVANIA (7) returned from a break in good shape and can go one better this time. BELLA INDIA (8) may have just needed the last run and will strip fitter this time. She can contest the finish. MEDITERRANIO (14) has only had two starts and is likely to improve.

BIG FREEZE (9) was runner-up last year over this course and distance off a higher handicap mark. He is on a long losing run but has been very competitive lately off his current rating and could be ready to score. SIXTUS (3) is in good shape and is at his very best over this distance so will be a threat. INVIOLABLE SPIRIT (8) disappointed last time out but was very consistent before that and is clearly not out of it. HAARICIA (4) carries another penalty but continues to win races and must be respected for that.

TREVOR SENORA (5) is on a long losing run. He has hit the woodwork four times this year and hopefully the step up in distance gets him a winning turn. BONNY WAY (1) has not been at her best of late but does get this distance and can be a threat. MORNING SPIRIT (4) is better than her last run would suggest and should contest the finish. DALIAPUR (3) is probably better over a shorter distance but cannot be ruled out.

6

17:27 Fontainebleau (France) (4YO plus)

A very competitive-looking race. PIOLI IS ON FIRE (5) has been very consistent without winning this year and can go one better this time. AMRITA (7) returned from a break in good form, should be fitter now, and can be a threat. DELTA SPIRIT (1) has won over this distance but is probably better over shorter these days. MIRADERO (2) is not reliable but is clearly not out of it either.

DARLINGHURST (2) is a Group 3 winner. He was not at his best earlier this year but, if fit and ready, he will prove hard to beat in this line-up. HARPER (1) looked in need of his only run this year and, if there is a danger to DARLINGHURST (2), then he is probably it. MEMPHIS TENNESSEE (3) has struggled all year and needs to find his best form to be a threat. MICHIGAN FIRE (4) did win a race last year but has lost his way this season.
