It is hard to oppose the 130-rated FOUNTAINS WINDFALL, even if the six-year-old does look slightly flattered by that mark. He was getting the best part of a stone when a narrow second to the useful Gala Ball last time, but that form is head and shoulders above anything that his rivals offer today. Our Three Sons ran well enough at Plumpton last month but has 11 lengths to find with selection from a meeting in a bumper here last June. The Gary Moore pair of Knightly Pleasure and Le Capricieux have both shown ability and they could prove to be the main dangers.

Kimora bolted up in a hunter chase over C&D recently but she is no lock to make the frame now back in handicap company. The in-form veteran DOUBLE CHOCOLATE has been put up 13lb for his impressive win at Warwick earlier in the month and he would be very hard to beat if reproducing that effort, despite such a hike in the ratings. Buckhorn Tom and Qulinton are both dangerously well handicapped if they can rediscover their best form.

The in-form SIR DYLAN finds himself on a career-high mark but a 7lb rise for his latest win at Stratford looks fair, especially as the fourth has won since. The other last-time-out winner in the field Highbury High has been put up 6lb for only winning by neck. That said, that effort was no fluke as he had been running very well previously and the nine-year-old can make the frame once again. Thepartysover often runs very well at this course.

OSGOOD has not been on a racecourse since August last year but he has been spared hard races on ground he doesn't like over the winter. When last seen over hurdles he was a winner over C&D, under this jockey, and he remains on a workable mark despite the 7lb rise in the ratings. Occasionally Yours is not the most reliable of performers but he is worthy of a place on the shortlist following his win at Huntington a couple of weeks ago. Cobham's Circus and Kenobe Star are two handicap debutants to note.

Admirable veteran French Opera is a long way from his best but it would be no surprise to see him finish thereabouts off a mark of 135. ANTONY was third in a good handicap at Sandown last month, from this rating, and a reproduction of that effort today would make him very hard to beat in a weaker race, though he does have to prove himself over this trip. Saint Roque is already a C&D winner and he is only 4lb above his most recent winning mark.

LEADEROFTHEDANCE has been an all or nothing in his most recent starts but he does appear to produce his best on a sound surface, which he should get today. Horace Hazel and Very Extravagant both arrive here in fine fettle, while Golanova completes the shortlist in an open contest.

Top weight VEXILLUM looks to be the safest pick in this moderate contest. Compared to most of these the son of Mujadil is very consistent and he would have gone closer last time but for pulling very hard after a seven-month break. Sylvan Legend has been knocking on the door of late and he pulled clear of the rest when second at Southwell earlier in the week. Killabraher Cross is another to arrive here on the back of some decent efforts in recent months.

The return to quicker ground clearly favoured STONEMADFORSPEED, when he only found Highbury High (runs in the 2.50) too good at Wincanton a few weeks ago. That pair pulled well clear of the third and he should be capable of defying a 5lb rise in the ratings. Lady From Geneva has proven to be a consistent mare in her most recent starts, although her mark looks a touch high at the moment. Generous Helpings and Rocknrobin also merits consideration.
