Seize The Hay had Mr. Mazza two positions in arrears when runner-up over a mile here but may have to settle for another supporting role, this time behind UNPOPULAR OPINION. The son of Carpe Diem has picked up minor honours in decent contests and today could be his day. Cuy is also respected.

Nona Rac showed his appreciation for the rise to a route by finishing second here but he can be taken on with BELLAGIO, who will find this less taxing than the two Aqueduct assignments he has been set. Big Frank is another who will relish having his sights lowered.

LALALI found 5f too sharp on her return to action but this trip suits her better, and getting off the turf will also aid her cause. Too Stylish sprung a bit of a surprise last time and heads a list of dangers that also includes Takestwotowiggle, Beasaichi and Gravel Gertie.

A gelding operation can inspire improvement in Lord Melbourne, as it did when Enano Astray occupied the runner-up berth last time. Ultraconfident took a step forward when upped to a mile but a chance is taken on the fitness of SKY BRIDGE, who displayed plenty of potential around this time last year.

SUNSHINE CITY's debut success here earned her a trip to Royal Ascot and while she came up short in the Windsor Castle, she has done well in good races since returning Stateside. She could be a class above these, with Flash Town and Heart Of God maybe the fillies who can get closest to her.

AFFICIONADO predictably came up short in a $95k event here, but she previously capped a good run of form with victory over a mile here and is selected on that basis. La Incondicional forced Fantastic Kingdom and A Beautiful Day to settle for minor honours a few weeks ago, but there should be little between the three of them.

TOUPHA was never a factor in a $16k claimer on the turf here, but this is a far more suitable test for him and he is fancied to capitalise. Aequor will be happier here than he was over 5f last time, while Resident and Cappy Hour are capable of getting involved at their best.

SETTING THE MOOD hit the crossbar twice in New York before holding her own in the Belmont Oaks, and she can make a triumphant return to the scene of her maiden victory. Princesa Caroline, Declarationwarrior and Kissing Frogs have any amount of improvement to come, although all three are returning from some sort of absence.

TRISOMIA had to settle for third when attempting to complete a Gulfstream Park West hat-trick, but the performance was still full of merit and he is worth sticking with. If this trip is too short for him, Fort King could capitalise, although Vincent William must be considered closely too.

MO READY has been thrown in at the deep end since winning a Saratoga allowance event in August, making the frame in the Belmont Derby before struggling at Keeneland. Todd Pletcher has spotted a nice opportunity to boost his confidence and he can take full advantage, possibly at the expense of Ready Soul, Gauguin and Harbour Master.

BELGRANO failed to fire in a good sprint on his return to Gulfstream, but he picked up a good Monmouth prize prior to it and stays this far. He is preferred to Zippy, who was behind him last time but was in good form at Parx before that. Til The End and Danville are just two more with claims in a competitive affair.
