Harry Fry has made a pleasing start to his career and his Generous gelding, HENRYVILLE, did likewise when filling the minor placing in the Ascot bumper won by the promising Puffin Billy. He's expected to come on notably for that effort and enjoys a fitness advantage over many rivals. Golanova, Soixante Six and Foxcub have all shown promise but Nicky Henderson has a peerless record in such contests, so take careful note of Pryde Rock and his French-bred newcomer Tradewinds in the market.

Little form to go on but Nicky Henderson will almost certainly feel that this represents an excellent starting point for his Hernando filly, FREE THINKING, but take note of her strength in the market as there are a couple of likely sorts in opposition. Definitely Glad showed promise on her Worcester debut back in the summer and rates definite shortlist material whilst the excellent form of the Kim Bailey team brings Magic Money very much into the equation too.

Makari will inevitably be popular for the Henderson/Tinkler team and the fact that he's gone well on speed tracks the last twice augurs well for his chances here. He rates an obvious candidate but PURE STYLE may just have his measure. Charlie Longsdon's charge has a splendidly consistent career record and went really well on both bumper starts in the late autumn (finishing first and second). Sirius Chesnut, open to improvement after just the four starts, is next best.

Mister Dillon is expected to attract some support for Nicky Henderson and useful 5lb claimer Jeremiah McGrath, but COUSIN KHEE boasts a useful rating over hurdles (122) and the Exeter bumper winner will no doubt appreciate dropping in class for this event. Given the way in which he quickened up to beat the well-regarded Ericht in a novice hurdle at Huntingdon in January, he may just prove a class above when push comes to shove, but keep a close eye on the returning Featherintheattic, as well as Cold Knight.
