A competitive but moderate event in which a chance can be given to ALICE'S DREAM, who has shown ability in maiden company and she makes her handicap debut tonight. The step up to 7f should also be a positive for the daughter of Showcasing as she has looked to be slightly one-paced over 6f. Altiko Tommy, Tennessee Rose and Wentwell Yesterday are others to arrives here in good form and are proven on an artificial surface. The shortlist is completed by Dark Hero and Glenys The Menace.

Al Mansor made an encouraging debut at Leicester a couple of weeks ago and that experience should prove to be invaluable this evening. That said, he can be taken on with ALKASHAAF, whose half-brother, Aljraam, won the Wood Ditton on his debut in 2013. Being by More Than Ready and from the family of the high-class US performer Unbridled's Song, this juvenile should be suited by this artificial surface. Sultan Baybars is a half-brother to the Group 1-winning Termagant, while connections had to part with 280,000gns to secure Dutch Quality as a yearling.

MUZEEL was sent-off as favourite for a very competitive maiden at Yarmouth last time out and there may have been something amiss with the son of Dark Angel that day given the 70-day break. First Up is another who has already shown a high level of form and he is likely to prove to be the main danger today. Mullarkey showed promise when making the frame over this trip on debut at Epsom and is respected despite being keen when fifth of nine over a mile at Kempton yesterday.

ETIKAAL looks to be the leading contender following a highly-encouraging third on debut over C&D earlier this month. He showed signs of greenness that day and the son of Sepoy looks sure to improve for that experience tonight. Glorious Rocket has filled fourth position in both of his starts to date and he should be in the mix once again. Zebulon would appear to be the pick of the remainder.

Best Laid Plans has been knocking on the door lately and could build on her Wolverhampton second over the extended mile last time out now fitted with first-time cheekpieces. Another bold bid likely beckons, though of more interest is RIGHT REBEL, who finished an encouraging third over 7f here on debut and could improve for this additional furlong. Tiercel has claims on his best form, while any money for Charlie Hills' newcomer Lord Topper would be notable.

Flymetothestars was off the mark on debut at Southwell and is worth a market check now stepped up in trip on his handicap bow. With the benefit of a recent run to his name, however, RED RANNAGH, shades the vote. David Simcock's charge attracted market support when third over 1m1f at Goodwood last time and was outpaced, but the step up to this longer trip could yield immediate improvement. Penalised course (1m4f) scorer Sam Missile looks best of the rest.

CHARLIE BEAR travelled very powerfully when scoring over 1m3f here earlier in the month and could take plenty of beating if moving as menacingly over this longer trip. Nonios finished third behind the selection in that race and could narrow the gap as he reopposes his conqueror on better terms this time. Others worthy of consideration are grade-dropping pair Sbraase and Dolphin Village, both of whom are up to scoring at 0-85 level.

OCEAN LEGEND was far from disgraced when fifth in a stronger contest over 7f here last time and is worth monitoring closely in the betting now eased into this 0-60 and dropping back to 6f. Assertive Agent was putting in her best work in the closing stages over the extended 5f at Brighton last time and could appreciate this extra yardage, likewise Oat Couture, who moves back into a handicap after rattling the crossbar in a Bath maiden.
