Kevin Prendergast struck with La Collina in this race 12 months ago and, for the same connections this afternoon, Group 1 entrant Kalawma warrants the utmost respect on her debut. ROYAL EMPRESS left a lasting impression on her Curragh introduction, however, and the daughter of Holy Roman Emperor is open to stacks of improvement on just her second start. Private Alexander was a place behind the selection at the Curragh and is also open to considerable progress.

Like many of Aidan O'Brien's juveniles, Kingston Jamaica boasts some fancy entries in both the National Stakes and the Epsom Derby, but the market is expected to deliver further clues regarding his debut chance. PROBABLY's form behind Lines Of Battle at the Curragh looks the best on offer and David Wachman's colt will have learned an awful lot from that initial experience. The step up to 7f is likely to play to his strengths and he is fancied to deliver, but also keep an eye on Handsome Stranger and Newberry Hill.

Baring the debutante, Rathmolyon Rocket, and recent Fairyhouse third DANZERINI, they all have something to prove having failed to get competitive thus far, so it is tough to oppose Mick Halford's charge. He looked a promising prospect when finishing behind the more experienced Hi Emperor and An Cat Dubh earlier this month, and the son of Bernardini is expected to relish this slightly better ground. Jim Bolger's Paene Magnus is feared most of the remainder.

For all Bangalore Diamond responded well to the first-time blinkers at Dundalk last month, the son of Elusive City has to prove the headgear works again and it could pay to side with RIGID ROCK. The gelded son of Refuse To Bend must defy top weight but he continues to hold his form well on the all-weather and should be suited by this slightly longer trip now switched back to turf. Rose Garnet is another for the shortlist.

REFUSE TO SELL is dangerously well handicapped on the form of his C&D success in June 2009 and, while he has failed to land a race since, he looked back to form when second three starts ago and hasn't been entirely disgraced in two subsequent starts, the most recent of which coming over 6f at Dundalk last month. Elsewhere, Ucanchoose and San Jose City are also weighted to get competitive.

No fewer than six last-time-out winners line up for this fillies' handicap and, while Suzette De Bavay and I'm Sheikra warrant close consideration on the back of their respective debut wins, preference is for ONE FINE DAY. The daughter of Choisir made a pleasing start at Navan last month and confirmed that promise when scoring comfortably in a Listowel maiden art the start of this month. Jessica Harrington's inmate receives weight-for-age against her elders and, off a mark of 83, she is potentially well treated. New Magic is another to take seriously.

MORETHANAFEELING is holding her form admirably at present and an 8lb hike in the ratings for scoring at Fairyhouse might not be enough to stop her going in again. That particular piece of form received a boost when the runner-up The Fox Tully went one better earlier this week and, dropped to 1m for this, the selection may just attempt to make every yard of the running. Aragorn Icon has threatened a win for David Marnane and shouldn't be far away, while Heroine Chic could go well at a nice price.

Ballyhaunis arrives race-fit on the back of a hurdling campaign but this represents a tough ask at the top of the weights and FALSE ECONOMY is preferred. The C&D winner has gone up 6lb for getting the better of Notable Graduate at Listowel at the beginning of the month but his last two visits to Limerick have proved successful ones and he's expected to be on offer at a generous price. Redera is another interesting contender on his return to this sphere.
