LADYWOOD showed plenty of guts when making it back-to-back victories at Wolverhampton last time and the pick of Mark Johnston's duo makes plenty of appeal stepping up in trip here off a 6lb higher mark in search of a hat-trick. Space Kid hasn't been disgraced since scoring in November and could enjoy this first try over 1m4f, while Beijing Billy is back down to the mark he finished third off here in January.

CARIBENO extended his unbeaten run to five with a bloodless victory in an apprentice handicap over two miles last Saturday and is tough to oppose dropping back in trip off the same rating, escaping a penalty for that easy five-length success. Oslo has been kept busy since joining Mick Appleby and the consistent performer is sure to run his usual solid race over this distance. Red Force One can pick up the bonze medal.

WESTERN SYMPHONY, a promising third at Kempton on debut, opened his account at the second attempt when impressing at Newcastle in January and the Shamardal colt looks a useful prospect who could thrive once again, stepping up to 10 furlongs here. Duke Of Verona was a winner over course and distance at 33/1 on his fist outing and can't be underestimated, while Glide Down's Chelmsford second, when denied by a neck in December, could be built on moving up in trip.

MERCURIST had plenty in hand when scoring over track and trip last month and could feasibly take a 7lb rise in his stride to follow up. The main danger may be fellow last-start C&D winner Rivas Rob Roy, who has a 6lb higher mark to overcome. Violet's Lads wasn't beaten far over this trip at Kempton last time and also makes plenty of appeal on her preceding victory here in January.

ACCOMPLICE followed up his C&D victory last month with a fair third off this mark here last time and wouldn't need to find a great deal of improvement to get back on the winning trail. Enough Already drops back in trip after scoring over 1m2f here last month and could be keeping on strongly in the closing stages. Silver Dust also merits inclusion on the shortlist.

DILIGENT HARRY followed up his debut victory at Wolverhampton when scoring over 5f at Kempton in a novice race last time. Clive Cox's charge won easily at the Sunbury venue and could go well off an opening mark of 90. Rohaan has winning C&D form in the book and drops back from 7f after finishing second here last time. The main danger, though, may be Popmaster who, like the selection, has won on both of his starts to date ahead of his handicap bow.

There certainly didn't appear to be any fluke about RAHMAH's 66/1 victory at Kempton last time and a 5lb rise in the ratings might not be enough to anchor him if arriving in the same mood. Wemyss Point has struck the crossbar on his last couple of starts and is likely to be in the shake-up again, while Aleatoric and Aasleagh Fawn are other names to note.

HOTALENA looks to have been rejuvenated by the fitting of a visor, finishing runner-up in a Wolverhampton claimer before winning a C&D handicap last time, she could defy a 2lb rise to take this. For Peat's Sake ran a blinder over 6f at Wolverhampton latest and may appreciate cutting back in distance. He and Swooper, who has also been running well in a visor of late, look to be the main dangers.
