Parading (second) and Magical Life (third) met at Ffos Las before the latter went on to bolt up at Kempton, and the pair should be closely matched again. Little Mester and Pequenita are both open to improvement on their nursery debuts, while Poppy Foxy went close at Pontefract last time so must enter calculations. However, the vote goes to CRAZY CUBANA, who was out of her depth at Glorious Goodwood and should do much better in these calmer waters.

This should be an excellent opportunity for JUSTICE COURT, who pushed a short-priced favourite all the way over 7f on the turf course here. A mile isn't absolutely certain to suit judged on his breeding and Itica looks best placed to exploit any chinks in his armour. Rapide Vega showed a modicum of ability when trained in Ireland and is no forlorn hope, although Harry Eustace's newcomer Marchmont is more appealing.

Back in the care of Mick Appleby having spent over a year in France with Adam West, LE ROUGE CHINOIS found only a lightly-raced opponent too strong at Yarmouth. That performance should have blown any cobwebs away and given that he's won over C&D from 14lb higher previously, he could be too good. Star Of Jupiter's two runner-up efforts this campaign have seen him beaten by seven lengths, but he is capable of getting involved. Regally Blonde makes some appeal and, of course, Belle Of Kt comes right into the mix if turned out quickly after completing a four-timer here on Saturday.

VEIL OF CLOUDS wasn't able to justify favouritism when finishing third on her handicap debut at Wolverhampton, but that was still a promising effort and she should have more to offer. The Crisfords have their string in fine form at present and she looks the one to beat. Dark Brunette makes her first appearance for the Jane Chapple-Hyam yard and the booking of Oisin Murphy catches the eye, while Egotistical isn't ruled out either.

Pure Passion has been first and second in classified events the last twice and is respected on her first appearance in a handicap, but the vote goes to SAECULAMATION. The son of Acclamation showed more when third at Nottingham on his most recent start and looks well placed to record his second career success. Star Marian is another to keep a close eye on.

Uzincso has produced better efforts the last twice, finishing fourth and third at Kempton, and the veteran should go well again. However, HOVE RANGER wasn't beaten too far into third over a mile at Brighton on his latest outing and the son of Galiway remains unexposed over this distance. C&D winner Bergamo Gold lurks on an attractive mark and is another to note.
