OAKLEY ABSOLUTE was in fine form on the turf over the summer and is given another chance on the all-weather despite being unplaced on his previous four starts on the sand. Double C&D winner Karaoke ran with great credit round here last time and Sylvester Kirk's gelding, who is pretty well handicapped looks the biggest danger.

Kennington holds Ballybunion on their running over 6f at Wolverhampton last time and is weighted to confirm placings here today. Christine Dunnett's charge has never won over the minimum trip, however, and preference is for THE FISIO, who won over C&D last year and looked as though he may be coming to hand when running on late on his most recent start.

Ramsgill failed to defy a 5lb penalty for his C&D victory when fourth at Wolverhampton last time, and may need to drop a few pounds before getting his head back in front. RESONATE absolutely flew once getting a clear run round here last month, and with a little more luck may be able to score today. My Pension has dropped to a winning mark and his turn may not be far away.

Fusili got off the mark in a Wolverhampton claimer last time and looked as though she could go further, so this drop in trip could be against her. Porters is in good form and deserves to get his head back in front, but may have no answer to the Mick Channon-trained FUN TIME, who won on her debut over 7f here despite running green and looks sure to appreciate this extra furlong.

FIGARO FLYER takes a big drop in class and should take this with the minimum of fuss. Paul Howling's charge finished third on his only start on this surface to date, and the lengthy absence since his last all-weather run seems to be the only negative. She Whispers beat Phinerine by a head over C&D recently and there should be very little between the pair again here.

AZAROLE has found it tough going on his last two starts in Group company but will find this level much more to his liking and will take all the beating if running anywhere near his best. Psychiatrist put in a good effort over C&D last month and should not be far away again, while Three Wrens is improving all the time and is no forlorn hope.

PERFECT STORY has only gone up 3lb for her recent course win over 7f, and although she drops in trip today, James Toller's filly is in such good form that it may not stop her from completing the hat-trick. The Lord put in his best effort to date on the all-weather when third at Southwell last time and he may give the selection most to do. Katiypour is the pick of the remainder.

Gone'n'Dunnett has found some form of late and deserves to get his head in front but the drop in trip today may not help and he is passed over in favour of AFTER THE SHOW. Rae Guest's four-year-old has been pretty consistent since being gelded and may have too much speed for his rivals here. Ever Cheerful scored round here last time but that was over 7f and he needs further than this minimum trip.
