Archie Watson and Hollie Doyle teamed up to win this last year and Chief's Will could go close on his second run after being gelded. GREG THE GREAT started badly last time before being rushed up to lead and fading late on, but he may be far happier in this company and back to the scene of his C&D success in July. D Day Odette has performed well off higher marks on turf and could also get involved for a yard in good form.

George Morland ran on well to win over a furlong shorter here last month on his first start for new connections, and an added 2lb from the handicapper seems fair. He may follow FIELD OF HONOUR home after the three-year-old showed improved form when ridden from the front to take his maiden at Brighton. He may go on from there, while Mighty Mind won on his first start for Dylan Cunha at Chelmsford and is another seemingly on an upward curve.

Khamsin Lady would be the obvious selection here after she was beaten less than a length over C&D last month, but a chance is taken on ROSE LIGHT. Slowly away on her only start at Goodwood and beaten less than five lengths into fifth, she looked the sort to learn plenty from the experience and went into many a notebook. She can do a lot better now, while the more experienced Mashaaer has to be considered in a first-time visor.

REBEL REDEMPTION returned to winning ways at Wolverhampton last month, he remains well treated from a 1lb higher mark and, berthed well in stall three, he's fancied to follow up. Multiple course scorer Swiss Pride features prominently in calculations, although he'll need to be alert drawn widest of all. Macchiavello delivered on earlier promise when successful at Kempton recently and he's another who looks set to go well.

Song Of Success struggled in the Dick Poole at Salisbury earlier this month, but she ought to fare better with her sights lowered. However, preference is for PRINCEVILLE. The son of Exceed And Excel opened his account at Yarmouth second time out and he was far from disgraced behind a ready winner at Wolverhampton last month. He'll need to improve further to defy an opening mark of 86, but that's quite possible. New Hope Bullet arrives in search of a hat-trick and she must also enter calculations.

SAXON VILLAGE is related to some smart types and this could present the ideal opportunity for him to score. Charlie & Mark Johnston's charge raced over 6f in three qualifying runs, but keenness has tended to be his undoing. The drop to 5f looks a good move and he could prove much better than an opening mark of 65. Street Parade has been admirably consistent and deserves the utmost respect, along with Hey Ho Let's Go.

DUBAI LEADER has to concede weight to the majority of his rivals, but he's heading the right way after a determined win at Windsor back in May and, providing the son of Golden Horn is ready for this assignment, he could be the one to beat. Believe In Stars could prove to be the chief threat if building on the promise of his maiden run at Nottingham, while Escape Free is noted after showing more promise at Kempton 13 days ago.

Euraquilo went close at Brighton 15 days ago and the son of Raven's Pass is one to consider if running to the same level, but consistency hasn't been his strong suit in the past so he might be worth taking on with NAASMA. The Pat Phelan inmate went close on stable debut 21 days ago and is very interesting returned to this distance on what will be only her second start in a handicap. Fellow three-year-old Wholeofthemoon is another to consider.
