Having justified favouritism when opening his account over 1m2f at Goodwood earlier this month, there should be more to come from MASTER VINTNER. The son of Mastercraftsman is entitled to improve for this extra quarter-mile distance and is taken to double his tally. Frank Stamper arrives on the back of two creditable efforts in defeat at Southwell and he may serve the most resistance to the selection, ahead of Moon Chime.

MANILA MIST left her fourth-placed seasonal debut at Brighton behind when making all over an extended 1m3f here last month. Although the five-year-old is reverting to handicap company off a 4lb higher mark, another bold is forecast in retained cheekpieces. Dors Delight appreciated a switch to Polytrack when scoring at Chelmsford 26 days ago and she also enters the reckoning, along with Birthday Angel and Pyrrhic Dancer.

A drop in distance proved just the tonic for last month's Chelmsford winner Riffa Spirit and he warrants respect on his follow-up bid. However, an opening mark of 72 does demand more from the Crisfords' gelding and fellow last-time-out scorer PORTACLOY is slightly more appealing. The daughter of Ten Sovereigns appeared to have something in hand over C&D 20 days ago and she's fancied to complete a double. Corniche Girl and Star Of Albion are also noted.

INDIAN SPIRIT returns to a mile for the first time since finishing a creditable fourth at Newbury back in April. He disappointed on his subsequent handicap debut and first start for George Boughey's yard, but has been gelded since and the son of Invincible Spirit gets another chance back at this level. Nutmeg has plenty to find with the selection on Newbury running, so Ffos Las runner-up Redbud Sixteen could prove a bigger threat.

The newcomer El Rehaiby is a half-brother to a winner and is worth a second look, but RETURN TO UNIT looks one to keep on the right side of. Repeatedly denied a clear run at Windsor on debut, he would have finished much closer than seventh otherwise and a bold bid appears assured from Roger Varian's son of Kingman. The more exposed Panelli rates best of the rest now returned to maiden company.

Run With It has every chance if transferring his winning form on the tapeta over to this surface, while City Of Poets's yard has hit top form since his last start and he could be in the mix. SPIRIT OF LEROS will be hard to keep out of the finish on the evidence of his recent second at Kempton. Beaten only a neck in first-time blinkers, the headgear remains in place, and Marco Botti's charge could prove hard to stop.

The booking of the in-form Tom Marquand aboard Irish raider RIFT VALLEY catches the eye and he is taken to get off the mark at the 11th time of asking from a workable mark of 60. A winner over C&D in April and a veteran this stage, Recon Mission can follow the selection home, along with the highly capable Harry Brown.

FRANCISCO hinted at a return to winning ways when a creditable third at Wolverhampton earlier in the month and a mark of 59 looks manageable for the son of Zoustar. It has been a long time between drinks for C&D winner Triggered, but he has the services of Billy Loughnane to call upon this time around, while Edergole's Gift has decent claims on her penultimate second here on turf.

A winner over C&D on his penultimate outing before being slowly into stride and eventually staying on for third over 7f here most recently, SEMSER sets the standard on form and he can land a sixth career success. That may be at the main expense of Brighton winner Rainbow Sign and Iftikhaar, who was a 29-race maiden before betting off the mark at Chelmsford earlier in the month.
