He will need to do so, though, to get the better of UNE PAINTURE (2) who, having already revealed sufficient means, has both the form and experience to fight for victory. ALABAMA MOON (6) was an impressive second-start winner at Nancy last month and should have more to offer, so makes the trip with legitimate ambitions too. Being pitched into a Listed race after a winning debut may have come too soon for WOOTTON VERNI (4) who can't be written off just yet.
