SETTIE HILL has progressed with each start over hurdles with two solid efforts at Ascot in the winter followed up by a relatively easy success at Southwell last month. He carries a penalty but it would be a surprise were he not able to defy that here. Sizing Cusimano has improved on his last couple of starts over hurdles and he looks the most likely threat, while Out Of Style is capable of better stepping up in trip.

WINDSPIEL has proven better since going over fences and confirmed the promise of a solid effort on chase debut behind Hargam at Warwick with a win at Towcester 11 days ago. He runs here under a penalty but can prove more than capable of defying it. Overtoujay is well respected on his second last time at Southwell, but the main danger looks to be Teescomponents Max, who ran well on his return from a break at Uttoxeter last time.

ATALANTA'S GOLD got off the mark when showing a good attitude on her handicap debut at Towcester last month. The daughter of Arcadio is able to run off the same mark here where the step up in trip is likely to bring about improvement. War At Sea improved for a wind operation last time and may have more to come in handicaps, while Big Picture can improve for first-time blinkers.

PIXIEPOT won a similar race to this at Carlisle when last seen in late March and she should take plenty of beating once again, despite an 8lb rise in the ratings. The main threat is likely to be All Together, who made a really encouraging return to action at Chepstow a few weeks ago. Others to note are The Grinder and Desiremoi D'Authie.

TRADITIONAL DANCER made amends for his narrow defeat at Ayr two starts ago by winning at Perth 10 days later. A 5lb rise in the ratings may not be enough to stop the six-year-old from going in again. Call To Order has been disappointing of late but has an obvious chance based on his form from a couple of seasons ago. The rest do not inspire a lot of confidence but Notnow Seamus is the pick of them.

AS YOU LIKE let down favourite backers over Christmas at Huntingdon, with a couple of jumping errors in the middle of the race proving costly. However, having been dropped a further 5lb by the assessor he is extremely well treated if able to put in a good round of jumping. Larkhall ran with credit here following a 168-day break last time and the extra two furlongs could help him get closer, while course winner Iona Days has some smart form here and has to be on the shortlist.

Course and distance winner PRETTY RECKLESS has made the podium twice since returning to better ground and she remains on the same mark she ran well off at Warwick last time. She can get the better of the slightly frustrating Mick Thonic, who offered encouragement when second at Newton Abbott albeit when well held once again. Perfect Timing boasts smart course form and the assistance of Richard Johnson, while Red Square Revival can be forgiven his Worcester disappointment and is perhaps better this way round.
