GREENCARD GOLF left some average efforts behind when scoring at Uttoxeter in May and looks capable of keeping his winning run going here. Sylcan Express won a similar race over 2m3f here last month and is a leading player, while Heavenly Stride could be on the premises with a clear round.

Henrietta Knight has done well here over the last few years from a limited number of runners and looks to have every chance of another winner courtesy of CHASE THE SUNSET, who beat subsequent winner Rebelle at Worcester early last month. Romany Prince is in fair form at present, while Enhancer looks a big danger following a string of placed efforts since his win at Cheltenham in April.

Don Noble Bookmaker "Gives Guaranteed Odds" Beginners' Chase

Sue Smith's young chasers always warrant respect and BUSHIDO could be another success if overcoming his tumble at Southwell on his fencing debut in May. He was a length clear when falling that day and looks to have a bright future over the larger obstacles. Touch Closer is an interesting runner on his second chase start and could feature, while Offalevel has winning form in points and can't be ignored on his first run over regulation fences.

Some of FIORI's best races over jumps have come following a break, so his 53-day absence since finishing third at Perth can be seen as a positive. Another positive is having Tony McCoy in the saddle, and the champion can continue his profitable association with Pat Haslam. In The Frame is at the top of his game, but a 6lb raise for winning at Uttoxeter last month won't aid today's cause, while Mumaris and Runner Bean could fight it out for third spot.

16:15 Market Rasen (Class E) (4YO plus)

Zarakash ran a fine race when third over C&D last month on his return from over a year out, but he could find this outing coming a little too soon afterwards and he's overlooked in favour of SMART BOY PRINCE. Charles Smith's gelding produced an improved effort to finish second at Cartmel in May and will not have to raise his game much to secure this event. Peter Bowen's runners always merit respect here and Antigiotto should not be left out of calculations.

6

16:45 Market Rasen (Class E) (5YO plus)

Richard Noble Handicap Chase

Winner £3,848 - 15 ran

One of HOWABOYS QUEST two victories was gained over this C&D and his recent third in a selling hurdle at Hexham suggests he may be able to add another to his tally. Clear Dawn and Woodenbridge Dream are others in decent form at present and could figure, while Ron Hodges has few runners here and his Sunshan is worth noting following his second in a 2m5f chase at Newton Abbot last month.
