ADJALI boasts some strong hurdles form in France with his Listed third at Auteuil in May working out rather well. He has since been purchased by Simon Munir and Issac Souede to join Nicky Henderson, who has a fine record with juvenile hurdlers, and he looks to confirm himself as a leading Triumph Hurdle contender. King D'Argent was third behind Cracker Factory in the Wensleydale at Wetherby and represents a fair test for the selection, while Seaborough, who finished second behind Dan Skelton's gelding at Wetherby in October, looks best of the remainder.

GENERAL CUSTARD looked a non-stayer when third to Supremely Lucky on his latest outing at Southwell over 3m when beaten 18 lengths. The drop in trip looks in his favour and his rider's claim will prove valuable in what looks a more than winnable race on paper. Soldier Of Love will improve for the extra couple of furlongs compared to what he faced on his debut at Bangor, while Oscar Nomination completes the shortlist.

HOPE FOR GLORY was still travelling well in front when falling at the third last at Sedgefield nine days ago and, providing he is over that experience, looks capable of winning off this mark. Royal Act didn't get very far at Bangor on his return to action but looks of interest with Danny Cook taking the ride, while a return to fences could see Quantum Of Solace prove competitive.

A wind operation proved the key to BLAKERIGG last time after he won cosily at Ayr and follow up could be on the cards under Brian Hughes once more. The step up in trip and 9lb rise makes life tougher, but the seven-year-old has been found a nice opening and could have too much class. Pookie Pekan did it well at Wetherby last time and there is more to come from him, while Mahlerdramatic is also noted wearing first-time blinkers.

Dan Skelton boasts a 28% strike-rate with his runners over hurdles here in the last five years and RENWICK looks to be worth following after his runaway success at Hereford last time. That effort came after a break, so there should be more to come from the son of Milan. Jam Session was a winner on the Flat at Goodwood last time, while Imada was second at Ayr when last seen and looks open to no end of improvement.

POINT N SHOOT was a nine-length winner when last seen in the spring and Nigel Hawke's seven-year-old rates as the one to beat once again if arriving in the same form on his reappearance off an 8lb higher mark. Simply Lucky made the podium at Catterick last time and is respected once again, while Waltz Darling and The Manuscript are others to note, with the latter wearing cheekpieces for the first time.

LILY OF LEYSBOURNE has rattled the crossbar here on the last two occasions and makes plenty of appeal on her handicap debut dropping in trip, with Connor Brace able to claim 8lb in the saddle. First Quest scored over this distance at Uttoxeter in the summer and this is his first outing since undergoing wind surgery, while Keel Over has been in good order and cheekpieces could help him build on his promising outings at Stratford and Lingfield.
