The two that standout are DREAMCATCHING and The Blue Bomber, with the preference going to the latter because he has proven that he can win a race. The four-year-old faced a tough task in the Fred Winter last month but he did win a similar event to this at Wincanton in February. The Blue Bomber arguably has stronger form to his name, including placed efforts behind Rather Be and River Wylde, but he has disappointed in some weak races already. Storm Warning is the pick of the remainder on his hurdles debut.

BOAGRIUS was only half a length behind High Secret at Taunton last month and that rival finished fourth in a Grade 1 at Aintree on Friday. This five-year-old may be slightly flattered by that form but it does give him an outstanding chance. Royal Village has gone well in all three starts under Rules and he must be given the utmost respect. Mister Whitaker completes the shortlist for this contest.

This is not a strong race and another chance can be given to SIGURD following a rather disappointing handicap debut over hurdles last month. The five-year-old has been dropped 4lb for that effort and his form behind two useful novices at Catterick prior to that gives him a big chance. Dubai Celebrity only found one too good at Musselburgh recently and another good run can be expected from him, while Bonnet's Vino cannot be discounted either.

CONTRE TOUS can land some vital prize money for title-chasing Paul Nicholls and can improve on his neck victory here over course and distance last time despite the 4lb rise. Chestnut Ben was game when seeing off Roxyfet at Wetherby and can run well once again, while Thankyou Very Much missed out on the hat-trick when second last time out at Musselburgh and is entitled to respect once again.

MORE BUCK'S need to bounce back from a disappointing effort at Newbury but this assignment represents something of a drop in grade and he could be a danger to all if let loose at the head of affairs in this small field. Ash Park ran well in a novice chase at Musselburgh last time and should remain competitive now moving back into a handicap, while A Little Magic has been holding his form well over shorter trips and cannot be ruled out.

Ballythomas comes here in search of a hat-trick having scored around the tight turns of Musselburgh the last twice. However, a chance is taken on Jonjo O'Neill's LOST LEGEND, who has slipped to an extremely dangerous mark, some 21lb lower than his last victory and he can make a welcome return to the winner's enclosure here. Richard Johnson will be hoping that Fly Home Harry will be able to do exactly that and he can go close on the back of his Southwell second.

Who's My Jockey is closely related to Hurricane Fly and will be interesting on his racecourse debut alongside fellow newcomer Counter Shy, who sports the JP McManus silks for Jonjo O'Neill. Malcolm Jefferson is shrewd when placing his bumper charges and his Cabin Boy is worth a second look. However, WEMYSS POINT was only beaten three lengths at Musselburgh and looks a horse on the up who can go one better today.
