Mont Des Avaloirs has not been disgraced the last twice and can get back to something like his best with now less on his plate. However, he bumps into the highly-regarded THE KING OF MAY, who was well backed for the Fred Winter at Cheltenham, and Brian Ellison's charge can show up well here at a course his handler does well at. Mon Eldorado makes his first start for Peter Bowen having left Christian Williams, while Run For Eva needs plenty more to figure.

THE BOTTOM BAR chased home the well thought of Al Shahir at Towcester last time on his first start for Nicky Henderson and a repeat of that can see him go one better here. Quest For Life is respected and has been in fine form making the podium the last twice. He has gone well at this venue in the past, while Ataguiseamix is considered following a wind operation, wearing a first-time tongue-tie.

Zen Master was only a neck behind the consistent Smart Boy at Taunton and should go well once again despite a 6lb rise for that effort. However, CHANDOS BELLE was impressive when stepped up to this distance last time when winning at Huntingdon and she is backed to defy the 9lb rise for that victory here. Towering can run well at longer odds, while Mr Snoozy last tasted success at this venue and is just 3lb higher now.

ROXYFET was a winner on his last visit here four starts back and despite his mark potentially having caught up with him on his three subsequent outings, he is more than worth chacing once again at a course which clearly suits his running style. Red Devil Star is consistent and was not disgraced against decent opposition last time, while Ballycamp should run a solid race to pick up a place on the podium.

BEGGAR'S WISHES rattled the crossbar over 2m4f at Leicester last time out and is expected to remain competitive following a 4lb rise. Monbeg Charmer is 4lb higher than when scoring over 3m at Ludlow in November and is entitled to improve on his latest effort at Kempton now eased in grade. The pick of the remainder may be Remind Me Later, who picked up some minor money off this mark over 3m at Ascot when last sighted in November.

SHOCKINGTIMES stayed on strongly in the closing stages when scoring by seven lengths over 2m7f at Haydock last time and is expected to defy a 7lb rise and follow up to notch a quick double. Lip Service is having only his third start for Fergal O'Brien and is worth a market check on his second outing since undergoing wind surgery. Milly Baloo drops in grade after finishing a creditable fourth at Haydock and could also take a hand.

AKARITA LIGHTS shaped with promise when second over 2m at Newcastle last month and is entitled to build on that effort with an outing now behind him. Myplaceatmidnight makes some appeal on his C&D bumper win last April and ran well under a penalty at Fakenham in November. Any money for newcomers Dorking Boy and The Bunnyman would also be notable.
