FEARLESS was still going well when unseating his rider two out at Huntingdon and if that mishap hasn't left a mark, the bumper winner should be up to landing this on his third start over hurdles. Youracert might struggle to successfully give him weight but ran well behind a horse deemed good enough for the Supreme at Doncaster and won here last summer. He won't go down without a fight, and Dusty's Choice is also noted.

WAITONIT has finished well beaten on each of his three starts over timber so far, but now goes handicapping back up in distance and could be ahead of the assessor off 100. He makes plenty of appeal on pedigree and represents a powerful yard. Donald Dux gets in off a light weight and wasn't beaten far at Newcastle recently, while chances are also given to Invicta Lake and Versifier.

DUNDRUM WOOD is a promising novice hurdler and a course winner to boot, so makes plenty of appeal in this. He was perhaps a little disappointing on his handicap debut at Fakenham, but the return to this track will play to his strengths and a mark of 120 surely underestimates his ability. Who's The Boss has performed well in defeat the last twice and joins Ice Galley on the shortlist.

COMPADRE boasts winning form at this track and gets the vote on his first start since undergoing wind surgery. The main danger may be Cave Top, who is sporting first-time blinkers as he bids to improve on his last effort at Huntingdon. Thomas Todd has held his form well since scoring at Fakenham in October and is another to bear in mind.

PICKNICK PARK opened his account over C&D last month and is expected to remain competitive after a 7lb rise. He can follow up to notch a double, with High Noon the one expected to chase him home following his Musselburgh second in January. The pick of the remainder may be Mistercobar, who makes some appeal on his head second over 2m at Leicester in December and may improve for this stiffer test.

PLAYA BLANCA escapes a penalty for his comfortable victory in a Warwick conditionals' contest last weekend and he can strike off a mark of 105 once again, with Ben Jones able to claim a valuable 3lb on this occasion. Torrid was runner-up over a bit further here on Boxing Day and is respected off the same rating. Mamdood is capable of building on his Musselburgh second.

FORTHEGREATERGOOD was successful between the flags and she can build on a solid Uttoxeter third on her first appearance under Rules to take this. The winner of that race has since followed up and the six-year-old represents a team with a good record in this sphere. Martello Sky accounted for a useful yardstick on her first outing at Fakenham and has to be respected, while Allavina made a pleasing start at Huntingdon and can't be ignored either.
