The penny seems to have dropped for AL QEDDAAF, who was not disgraced in a Grade 1 Aintree hurdle two starts ago and just missed out over 2m 1f at Kelso last month. He has very little to find to land the spoils here. Rubipresent, second at Perth latest and on the upgrade, looks the danger while Favours Brave and Im Ova Ere Dad are not without chances.
Al Qeddaaf didn't lose much caste in defeat at Kelso last time and is likely to be too strong for Rubipresent here. Hurdling debutant King's Icon may fare best of the rest.

SHILPA, a maiden winner at Huntingdon two starts ago, blew her chance when hitting the fourth last over this C&D last month but was going well at the time. Switched to handicap company today, she can make amends with a clear round. Peaceful Means just missed out last time at Fakenham and should be thereabouts once again while Keep Gunin and Crazy Bold can be given chances.
Crazy Bold hasn't been the easiest to predict of late but there's little doubt he's weighted to go close at present and he's given another chance here. Keep Gunin is unexposed and could go well on on his handicap debut, while Cocoa Key is better than he's shown of late and should fare better back in trip.

It could pay to side with SPARE ME, who returned to form with a good second over 2m at Uttoxeter this month. He's up 3lb in the weights for that effort but has scored off higher marks in the past, has won over 2m 6f here, and drops in class today. Bobble Hat Bob has been in good form of late and can run well again while Muntami may be held at the weights now but cannot be ruled out.
Bobble Hat Bob probably wasn't ridden to best advantage when beaten favourite last time, but he's fairly treated judged on his second at Kempton previously and the first-time cheekpieces might perk him up in the same way blinkers did on that occasion. Bijou Dan will appreciate the return to further and has place prospects, along with course-specialist Muntami.

It Is difficult to oppose the claims of BADGER FOOT, an comprehensive Novice winner over 2m 6f at Hereford last month on his second start over fences. He takes on more experienced horses here but is up just 2lb for that win and there appears to be plenty more to come from him. The consistent Sea Venture looks the one for the forecast while Water Taxi and Hold The Bid shouldn't be too far away.
Tim Walford's pair Sea Venture and Lawaaheb are both respected under these conditions, but Our Jim ran a cracker on his penultimate start and a reproduction here should be enough to see him come out on top.

Chicago Alley was a good second at Bangor last month but is rising in the weights while Champtho is up 2lb for his head success at Bangor and has more to do today. Towcester winner FARMER FRANK wasn't far away in fourth over 2m 1f at Cheltenham this month. He should be suited by this step up in trip and, dropped in grade, is fancied to land the spoils. Itzacliche won this last year and returns fresh from a double between the flags. He looks the danger but High Skies can be given a chance if he cuts out the jumping errors.
Farmer Frank will apreciate the step up in trip, and can prove too strong for High Skies and Caramia.

Alan Swinbank has an outstanding record in this sphere and can add to his tally, courtesy of SPRING SNOW, who just failed to catch the winner on his debut at Southwell last month. He has very little to find on that effort to land the spoils here and is entitled to have improved. Sweet Irony looks to be going the right way and could prove the danger while Cloudy Joe did enough on his debut at Uttoxeter to be considered.
An interesting mix of those with a decent level of form and newcomers from good stables. Spring Snow and Sweet Irony look the form picks, with the greater potential to improve giving the nod to Spring Snow. Jomade makes most appeal among the debutants.
