IWILLDOIT fairly bolted up on his handicap debut over a similar trip at Bangor and, 5lb well-in under a 7lb penalty, he might be able to complete the double. Ballyhome has posted three solid performances since returning in early November and he is likely to give another good account, while course winner Let's Get At It and Brian Ellison's Weakfield, who steps up in trip for his handicap bow, add further spice to the race.
This is a strong race for the grade, with ALMOST GOLD the selection from a very attractive mark if his Ascot run last time can be put down to an off day. Iwilldoit is a big danger under a penalty following an easy win at Bangor, with Ballyhome completing the shortlist.

Carlo Rocks has to race off a mark of 101 back in handicap company and might find that stiff enough after finishing second in the mud at Uttoxeter last month. Sands Cove outran big odds at Hereford last time and the veteran represents a handler with a good record at this track. Houndscourt has some good recent form in the book, but ROBIN DEUZ POIS gets the nod having caught the eye in third at Fontwell last time and should be suited by this drop in trip and class.
It's a long way back to find SANDS COVE's last success, but it came over this C&D from a significantly higher mark and there have been definite signs this year that he retains ability, so it's worth taking a chance on the veteran chaser to bounce back dropping into a lesser race than previously. Carlo Rocks is a big danger if in the same form as last time and Robin Deuz Pois can't be ruled out.
