QUEEN ODESSA was fairly touted by connections at the start of the season having beaten Aintree Mares Bumper winner Kayf Grace last January at Doncaster, but was disappointing when fancied for the Listed bumper at Cheltenham's November meeting. She has been given plenty of time to recover from that effort and could prove to be too strong for the opposition on her hurdling debut. Treackle Tart ran with promise when runner-up on hurdles debut last month at Leicester and is capable of taking a step forward from that. Others to consider include All My Love and Want The Fairytale.

Martha Mccandles gained her first success at Exeter having taken 11 attempts to get off the mark and could well gain confidence from that effort to get her head back in front once again. However, she faces a rival open to improvement in LADY MARKBY, who makes her debut in handicap company having chased home some smart novices on her three starts so far. Mo Chailin is respected on her recent form, while One Big Love will appreciate a drop in grade after pulling up at Kempton over Christmas.

MASTER OF FINANCE couldn't handle the step up to Graded class when well beaten into sixth by the impressive Neon Wolf at Haydock last month and is one to watch making his handicap debut having been dropped 4lb by the assessor for that run. Castafiore is respected with her form reading fairly well behind the likes of Evening Hush and Project Bluebook, while Caius Marcius was travelling well when unseating his rider at Musselburgh and remains open to further improvement.

Speredek would be of obvious interest if turned out quickly after winning a competitive event on Friday at Sandown but, if he doesn't turn up, this would look a match on paper between Chidswell, an easy winner last Sunday at Sedgefield, and HOLLY BUSH HENRY. The latter chased home one of the leading novices Frodon at Musselburgh a fortnight ago, could improve for the drop back down in trip and comes here the slightly fresher of the pair. Chidswell does have strong form and has to merit the utmost respect despite a quick turnaround. Prairie Town looks best of the remainder.

FIELDS OF GLORY has been in excellent form of late and benefited from the step back up in distance when winning at Musselburgh. This looks a much weaker contest with all of his three rivals having plenty to prove. Asuncion returns to the scene of her finest hour when winning a bizarre contest here in early December, while Make Me A Fortune would have a chance if returning to his course form when runner-up to Highbury High.

THE MYTHOLOGIST ran his best race under Rules when third at Taunton at the end of last month and doesn't need to improve much to get off the mark on his second start over the larger obstacles, in what appears a weak enough contest. Monderon posted a clear round for the first time in four starts at Leicester and could potentially progress from that effort, while Doubledisdoubledat looks best of the remainder.
