YES DADDY, a bumper winner here last year, was a shade disappointing at Perth last time but that was just his second run over hurdles and better can be expected with a hood applied here. Life And Times ran just once on the flat for Godolphin but he is very interesting now making his hurdling debut for John Ferguson. Cockney Class is also worth a second glance on his hurdles bow.

Watch out for: Life And Times (2)

Yes Daddy sets a fair standard but Life And Times and Cockney Class look interesting recruits from the Flat, and it's the former who's fancied to come out on top.

Delgany Gunner has claims on his Fontwell second to Haar last time and he is respected along with Balinroab, who will find this less demanding than the Haydock handicap which he contested last time. Brunswick Gold also has claims but VOLCAN SURPRISE is preferred. He was far from disgraced behind an in-form Galway Jack at Wetherby last month, on just his third run over fences, and it is unlikely we have seen the best of him just yet.

Farmer Frank won this back in 2010 and he has been in fair form between the flags of late so must be respected. Artic Pride was not disgraced at Cheltenham last time and is not ruled out but it might pay to side with BEDROCK FRED. He made all to land a point-to-point at Larkhill under Sam Painting last month and could prove tough to catch on his hunters' chase debut here.

Farmer Frank has been running really well between the flags this year, and put up a good effort at Towcester in March. He gets the nod just ahead of fellow point scorer Artic Pride, who was better than the bare result at Cheltenham earlier this month and ought to cause him most to think about.
