IT'S ONLY BUSINESS may have lost his unbeaten jumping record at Stratford last week, but he had previously hammered Hanga Roa, Red Eight and Style Setter at this venue and he is confidently expected to regain the winning thread with McCoy back on board. Mick Channon won this 12 months ago but his Fitzwilly will need to improve significantly for the switch in codes, a remark that also applies to Noble Bacchus and Blue Clumber.

Va'vite fought off First In The Queue, with Swampfire back in third, over 2m3f here recently and although he is 2lb worse off with First In The Queue, the extra distance will go some way to helping confirm his superiority. Preference, however, is for MASSANNIE, who made it three from three since joining David Pipe at Newton Abbot and steps into handicap company on a reasonable rating. Taigan has cleaned up at Southwell recently but needs to raise his game.

Local Hero is 4lb higher than when winning this last year, but was last seen finishing a long way adrift of BARIZAN in the Swinton Hurdle, and Evan Williams' former top juvenile is worth sticking with now apparently rejuvenated. Sea Lord has taken well to hurdles but is a stone higher than his successful handicap debut at Worcester. Tzora is also rocketing up the weights thanks to a Newton Abbot brace while Coffee is on a rapid upward curve too.

GALAXY ROCK has taken in plenty of the big staying handicaps over the past couple of seasons and, after a bit of a dry spell, he looked on the way back when fourth in a Listed race at Uttoxeter, where Pineau De Re and Problema Tic were behind him. Viva Colonia has been disappointing on the level of late, but the runs will have put him spot-on and he won the Summer Hurdle here in 2011. Bocciani, Paddy The Hare and Dineur are also respected.

Super Collider has paid his way this summer and ran well in a Worcester handicap behind Sea Lord, but he will do well to concede a stone to SEPARATE SHADOWS, who built on his jumping debut second to go one better at Worcester and there is more to come from him. His stablemate Isobar was a fair Flat handicapper for Luca Cumani but hasn't been seen for a while, whereas Engai won only last week but is more exposed than his chief rivals.

16:40 Market Rasen (Class 3) (4YO plus)

General Miller would be thrown in if he could recapture some of the form that won him a Grade 2 at the 2010 Grand National meeting, but his latest failure here continued his regression so he is passed over in favour of ROGER BEANTOWN. Paul Nicholls' gelding made it second-time lucky over fences at Worcester last month and a mark of 125 doesn't seem unfair. My Mate Vinnie was touched off at the same venue but a 6lb rise does make life tougher.

17:15 Market Rasen (Class 4) (4YO plus)

Betfred Super Sunday Bingo Handicap Chase

GREEN TO GOLD returns to the jumping sphere on a high after a Doncaster Flat victory last week and he has more scope for improvement at this discipline so it will be disappointing if he doesn't go very close. Another Flutter fared better than Milgen Bay when third at Uttoxeter and is a threat, but Mister Wiseman, who returned to winning ways at this venue recently, is up against it from 7lb out of the handicap.
