The Gleaner has not progressed since a decent second three runs ago but would be a serious contender if able to recapture that effort. REGAL SUNSET ran a cracker at Huntingdon last time on his first run since November and he looks to have a progressive profile. Petrokva could well prove to be the biggest danger, she was second to a decent horse on her penultimate start at Kempton and that form is as good as any on show, however she does need to bounce back from a lacklustre display last time at Ayr.

Sir Night is a consistent sort who should be sharper after his latest run but he might need to drop a pound or two before finding the winners enclosure. Muntami ran well when placed on the flat recently and was a winner of his last start over hurdles; he should not be far away. General Smith bounced back to winning ways at Worcester last time and although the second has been a beaten favourite since the form still stands up in the context of this event. THE CROOK ran his best race last time and is the sort to progress as he learns to settle in his races; he could be on a decent mark and may prove the pick.

Like A Lord ran a cracker returning from a 16 month break when second to Longueville Manor (winner since) at Bangor last time and should be spot on now; he won't be far away as long as he doesn't 'bounce'. Not for the first time was the irresolution of Turbo questioned last time but he's in decent order and shouldn't be far away but whether he'll put his best foot forward and win is open to doubt. They never saw which way GARSTON STAR went in an amateur race at Plumpton last weekend and he is selected to defy his penalty. Fortunate Dave was a winner over C&D last time and despite being 5lb higher he should be involved.

Meehan would seem to have plenty to do off this mark but a bigger player could well be Bog Oak. This gelding ran well last time at Kelso behind a fair sort and has since been transferred to Jonjo O'Neill from Charlie Swan. OSAKO D'AIRY flattered to deceive somewhat over hurdles but he put up an encouraging display on his English chase debut at this venue last time. He was a winner over fences in France and could have more to offer in this sphere. Iloveturtle is a game individual who will not be lacking for stamina.

Insurgent has been a model of consistency as his form figures would suggest but he was slightly below par last time and needs his best effort today. AD MURUM was returning from a break when awarded a race at Uttoxeter last time and despite being 7lb higher now it is possible that things are now going to click for him over fences. This is a slightly better race than Delaware Trail won last time at Hexham and although he won comfortably enough it is hard to see him following up off a 13lb higher mark but Killard Point is one worth considering.

Royal Hector has been a good addition to this division and was a ready winner at Hereford last time. That race did not take a lot of winning but nevertheless he should not be far way. RISK ACCESSOR has been a very talented if somewhat frustrating chaser down the years but they could never get him off the bridle when he won at Folkestone on Thursday and his class should see him home in front again. Promising pointer Kjetil looks best of the remainder.

MASRA has been runner up on all his four starts to date and he came up against what could be a smart prospect last time at Hexham. He hasn't looked entirely straightforward but has by far the best form on offer and should take plenty of beating. Option Money comes from a yard that sends out plenty of winners in this division and this debutant would be of interest if the market spoke in his favour. Zatochi is bound to have come on from his debut and he could well be best of the others.
