Edward Elgar arrives on a hat-trick, though this contest is tougher than the selling hurdles he's picked up at Leicester the last twice. Of more interest is Sailors Warn, who landed minor money over this trip at Sedgefield last time out.

KALANE impressed on her chasing debut at Huntingdon two starts ago and although she fell four out in a Listed contest at Doncaster last time, she rates the one to beat on these terms as she is in receipt of weight from her four rivals. Ballyalton was second in the 2014 Neptune and may still have more to offer over fences given his back class, though his two previous efforts in this sphere have been bitterly disappointing. Aso has been consistent over shorter and may benefit from this step up in trip.

Kassis warrants plenty of respect following her game Bangor success while Thinger Licht ran as though something was amiss at Perth last July and has been given plenty of time to recover from that. Gold Ingot also holds claims but SUNNY LEDGEND rates the one to beat. He showed that there is still plenty of life left in his 12-year-old legs when winning gamely at Towcester and a 3lb rise might not be enough to anchor him if arriving in the same mood.
