Two wins from three starts at this track, PRESUMING ED is the one to beat on the basis that he goes on any ground and remains on a winnable mark judged on his last-start second over the extended 2m here. Urban Grit will prove popular given his connections on handicap debut, but the main danger is Forever Des Long, who has dropped at an attractive mark if coming back to the pick of his maiden form.

It is difficult to oppose KAMAXOS, who brings a rating of 121 to the table and was third at Newbury in December behind Grade 1-winning chaser Dashel Drasher and Saturday's Uttoxeter scorer Beauport. The drop back into maiden company should do the trick and the five-year-old is taken to comfortably account for Le Balcon and Flann with a clear round of jumping.

Fergal O'Brien has enjoyed a great season and the majority of his horses performed admirably in defeat at Cheltenham last week. HUNNY MOON can be forgiven one bad run at Huntingdon last time while her impressive win over 3m here the time before remains fresh in the memory. Unexposed over fences, she can get the better of Grand Turina, who might want the ground softer than this, and Hawthorn Cottage.

ARDMAYLE improved for the fitting of a tongue-tie when winning at Southwell a little over a fortnight ago and although he's gone up 5lb for that win, he might have more improvement in him and it could be significant that James Bowen keeps the ride. Heritier performed well in defeat over timber at Ludlow last time out and is of interest on his chase bow, while Go As You Please makes some appeal too.

POLISH is an experienced hurdler and has the two wins to his name, which should count for plenty at the business end. A winner on the Flat at Goodwood last year, Fergal O'Brien's charge has contested better races than this all season and he's back on a winnable mark now connections reach for first-time blinkers. Royal Pretender and One True King are others to take seriously.

TRIXSTER's latest Taunton success was particularly impressive and he should be fine back on a sounder surface given his previous form. Be The Difference was well beaten at Catterick latest but was best of the rest in that race and is one who should definitely improve for better ground, given he won twice on good to soft at Ayr earlier in the season. Midnight Glance is another expected to get involved.
