Ladies Best was rated 100 in his pomp on the Flat but wasn't breathtaking on his first run over timber so PREMIER SAGAS gets the nod. Nicky Richards' charge just missed out at Ayr last time and should relish this slight step up in trip.
Premier Sagas has yet to live up to his bumper promise over hurdles, but he's still shown enough to suggest he can take advantage of this opportunity. Jumping newcomers L'Eldorado and Ibrox may follow him home.

LETS GO GIRLS left the form of her reappearance run well behind when scoring at Wetherby last time and could be up to defying a 4lb rise in the weights. Calfraz showed something like his best form last time but that came in plating company, while King Mak has not been disgraced in second on each of his last two starts and is still rated 15lb lower over hurdles than fences.
Conington disappointed last time but had looked promising prior to that and is worth another chance with a good conditional booked. In-form pair Lets Go Girls and King Mak appeal most of the rest.

The step up to longer distances appeared to suit PHEIDIAS last time and the six-year-old can score. Pam Sly's charge was not beaten far behind the high-class hurdler Mobaasher on his chasing debut and a similar performance could be enough to see off Bluegun, who has yet to convince that chasing is going to be the making of him. Blue Shark's best days came in 2005 but he is still worth a second glance, while Mirage Dore needs to bounce back from two heavy defeats.
Bluegun hasn't won since his hurdling debut nearly 2 years ago, but he's shown enough to suggest he should be plenty good enough to get off the mark over fences here. Mirage Dore would be a big danger if returning to his hurdles form, but he's been some way removed from that thus far as a chaser. Pheidias is the other with a shout on form.

Quazy De Joie ran well in a marathon chase at Warwick last time but has run desperately on both starts here, while Extra Smooth has a course win to his name but has run poorly on his other three visits. Sparkling Taff has claims off his current mark if rolling back the years but ORIGINAL FLY is a model of consistency over fences and can go one better than his recent second at Ayr.
Baltic Pathfinder seemed to benefit from the switch to fences last time, jumping soundly, and has the potential to beat more exposed rivals at these weights. Take It There goes well at the track and can also figure, while the drop in distance might see Quazy de Joie having to settle for a place again.

Mohayer hinted at a return to form at Taunton last time and, although that form has taken a couple of knocks since, he has solid claims in this company. Blazing Desert and Frank Crow look best of the rest.
Amir Pasha makes obvious appeal coming into this on a hat-trick, all the more so given most of the opposition can hardly be said to be in top form. He only scrambled home last time but should be helped by the drop in distance and is taken to hold off Dreams Jewel and Mohayer.
