Four-time winner JETSTREAM JACK was second in the Grade 2 Florida Pearl Novice Chase at the peak of his powers and should be too good for his rivals here despite struggling this calendar year. Consistent Ludlow winner Let's Sway is respected in opposition and the form of that success was franked by the second at Uttoxeter last week. Hollywood All Star appeals on the pick of his form, but this is his first outing since April, with course and distance winner Regulation also noted.

BENNY'S BRIDGE didn't get too far in a hot contest at Ascot when falling at the second, but ran well enough in a useful Chepstow contest on his hurdles bow to suggest he could bounce back to his best here. Champagne Mystery got caught up in the carnage in the novice hurdle opener won by West To The Bridge on his Aintree debut and is worth another chance, while Olly Murphy saddles two, Eolian and Imperial Knight, with the latter of that pair appealing most.

SIR EGBERT scored nicely at Newbury last week and, having escaped a penalty following that victory in a conditional jockeys' contest, Tom Lacey's in-form five-year-old could prove hard to beat once again. Dan Skelton's Savello has made the podium twice this winter and is now 28lb lower than when winning the Grand Annual at Cheltenham in 2014, while cheekpieces could help Amber Gambler build on his Carlisle reappearance.

Miles To Milan is 4lb higher than when scoring over 3m at Wetherby last time and should go well if this trip doesn't prove on the sharp side. Narrow preference is instead for BENNYS KING, who kept on strongly at the line when scoring over the extended 2m3f at Chepstow last time and could have more improvement in the pipeline on his second outing for Dan Skelton. Recent course second Pookie Pekan drops back from 3m and has place possibilities.

5

14:20 Market Rasen (Class 3) (4YO plus)

BEAU SANCY kept on at the one pace in the finish when second over 3m at Ayr last time and is a potential improver now tackling this longer trip. Late Romantic returned to form when runner-up over the extended 2m7f at Newcastle last time and is another with untapped potential over extreme distances. The pick of the remainder may be Mortens Leam, who bolted up over shorter at Fontwell earlier in the month and could relish this stiffer test.

DU DESTIN failed to make much impact last season for Nicky Henderson but he gets the nod following a wind operation and a break. Let's Get At It is also expected to prove better in time given his powerful connections, while first-time blinkers need to spark Dew Pond into life but he merits respect.

The Major General needs a betting check on stable debut for Jonjo O'Neill, while similar sentiments apply to Nigh Or Never, who is now with the shrewd Ian Williams and was second on his return to action at Hereford 71 days ago for previous connections. Oregon Gold did it well at Southwell last time, but GOLD CHAIN landed a gamble of sorts at Newcastle 13 days ago and a 12lb rise doesn't look too harsh considering how well she won.
