Ovthenight has won over hurdles here and at Southwell and should go well despite a double penalty while Caragh Bridge is the type to make further progress.

Nigel Twiston-Davies has made a flying start to the new season as usual and COOTEHILL can carry on his winning streak after scoring at Southwell, Stratford and over this C&D. Four of these met at Bangor last time when Treaty Flyer led the way to Ellerslie Tom, Izita Star and Amazing King, but the winner can confirm the placings despite being slightly worse off. Ameeq went off at long odds but ran very well when second to Cootehill over C&D and he can make the frame again.
A cracking handicap with plenty arriving in really good order. Cootehill was arguably value for extra when scoring over course and distance in July, and is taken to complete the same double as Katies Tuitor last year. Amazing King and Hibiki head the list of possible dangers.

BARIZAN has made a bright start to his hurdling career and last time out at Newton Abbot he beat Gulf President by nearly a distance. He'll clearly take all the beating on form and has the assistance of Tony McCoy. Forty Thirty was also an easy winner last time, having 4L to spare over Royal Max at Stratford, and he can confirm the form with that rival again. Newcomer Tombov comes from a stable with a brilliant record here and his claims must be respected but Strikemaster may need some rain to aid his cause.
There has been plenty to like about the way Forty Thirty won his 2 completed starts over hurdles, and he's taken to improve past Barizan and complete the hat-trick. Miss Gibboa makes some appeal in receipt of weight from the other sex.

KING TROY looks an exciting prospect and Alan King's classy recruit should make short work of his opponents today. His three chase wins include one over 2m 4f here and the extra two furlongs will not pose any problems. Postmaster kept on well when third at Stratford on Tuesday (Ruff Diamond well behind) and looks the likely danger. Third place is irrelevant for betting purposes but Robert The Brave should claim the prize.

HI DANCER has amassed nine wins in his long career and he can make it double figures following three creditable efforts this term. He found Sabre Hongrois 7L too good for him over C&D last month but he can go one better if in the same form. Pepporoni Pete does tend to find wins hard to come by but this regular frame-filler may prove the biggest threat. Peaceful Means is in good form and ran well at Stratford as recently as Tuesday.
Peaceful Means and Hi Dancer stand out, and it's the former who gets the nod back over a longer trip. Pepporoni Pete makes some appeal in the place market.
