TIME IS HONEY outran odds of 40/1 to make the frame here on Boxing Day and the two ahead of her are now rated in the 120s. If that form can be read literally, she is a major player on her comeback. EYREN was deemed good enough to contest the Grade 2 mares' bumper at Aintree and while she was found wanting there, her debut Doncaster triumph marked her out as a filly who could rise to a decent level over obstacles. Deputy's Oscar has shown some ability in two starts since joining Stuart Edmonds, although she does need to step it up.

Zeb Spirit made the perfect start to his jumping career at Fontwell, making his own running before keeping on resolutely to register a clear-cut victory. Repetitio showed the benefit of experience to strike at Newton Abbot, but they will do well to successfully concede 5lb to PRODUCTION. The Alan King-trained son of Oasis Dream developed into a useful handicapper for Richard Hannon and is now in the right hands to make his mark in early-season juvenile races.

Lucinda Russell wasn't able to get a win out of French import GARS BAR DINE, but he showed enough to pique Dan Skelton's interest at the Horses-in-Training Sale in the spring. The Alcester handler has tinkered with the eight-year-old's wind and he can strike on his debut for the stable, something Very First Time couldn't do when fancied at Uttoxeter. Dallas Cowboy has also moved yards since he was last sighted and is capable of getting involved, as is Beautiful Ben.

As You Like has been in flying form at Newton Abbot, but appears to save his best for the Devon circuit and his stablemate TERRY THE FISH could be better treated. The returning seven-year-old has had to settle for second on his last couple of outings over fences, but remains well treated compared to his timber rating. Teaser has been left alone for his narrow Newton Abbot defeat and has scope for further improvement, with Ratoute Yutty, Midnight Maestro and Overtoujay also considered in a competitive affair.

SCARLET DRAGON arrives here on the back of a good effort on the Flat when third at Newbury last Friday and Alan King's gelding appeals as having further improvement to come over timber. Gumball was disappointing in two hurdle outings last season but could be fairly handicapped with the hood reapplied, having won twice on the level in that headgear, while Azzuri and Definitelyanoscar are both capable of a decent showing.

SCOTTSDALE won in good style on his handicap bow at Stratford last month and, despite an 8lb rise in the handicap, he could have more to offer with Richard Johnson taking over in the saddle. Wise Coco won well at Perth earlier in the month and warrants consideration once again, while others to note include Jetstream, who was third at Uttoxeter on his latest start, and Olympic Odyssey, who makes his debut in this sphere.

17:10 Market Rasen (Class 5) (4YO to 6YO)

ON THE WILD SIDE shaped with a fair amount of promise on his racecourse debut when third in a bumper at Hexham and he could have plenty more to offer now, having had a wind operation and a trainer switch to Dr Richard Newland. Stimulating Song went close on his second career outing at Worcester at the start of the month and can enter calculations along with Legende de Minuit, who boasts a strong National Hunt pedigree coming from the family of top mare Dubacilla.
