LITTLE BOY BLUE made a promising start to his racing career when a head second behind the now 82-rated Golden Salute at Bath and, with normal improvement expected, he rates the one to beat. Rozanne wasn't beaten far over 6f at Yarmouth and could take another step forward by reaching the frame, while Charnock Richard and racecourse debutant All Out are others to keep an eye on.

Kodiac Express has struck the crossbar on her last couple of starts and looks sure to be in the shake-up again, but it might pay to side with the less exposed ALBA DEL SOLE. John Gosden's filly made a promising start to her racing career when fourth over this C&D and normal improvement will make her difficult to beat. Cowboy Soldier, a 105,000gns purchase, is worth a market check at least ahead of his debut.

Calling Rio warrants plenty of respect following a couple of bronze medal finishes but LA DIVA has arguably run to a higher level in two visits to Newmarket and gets the vote to open her account at the third time of asking. A number of interesting newcomers add further spice to the race, Sailing Home and Arendelle are just a couple of them.

GLOBAL EXCEED was only a neck away last time when attempting to follow up his Lingfield triumph but is backed to get back to winning ways here and he is a proven performer with ease in the ground. W G Grace has to be respected along with recent winners Daddies Girl and Diamond Dougal, while Excellent Times looks the pick of the Tim Easterby pair.

SILVER GHOST ran up a sequence earlier in the season before not being disgraced in tough company recently. This looks a much easier assignment and the likeable grey gets the nod here over Indian Chief who arrives with a similar profile. Tomahawk Kid often saved his best efforts for this venue and has to be considered, reunited with Silvestre De Sousa in the saddle, while Jack Of Diamonds and Bonnie Arlene are others for the shortlist.

Ease in the ground was crucial to HEAVEN'S ROCK when scoring at Haydock last time and he is backed to follow up here on similar conditions for her shrewd handler Tom Dascombe. Whip Nae Nae is another who got off the mark last time and he has to be considered, while John Gosden's Mooltazem is sure to have a race in him off his current mark.

Ed De Giles' Operative has to be respected on a hat-trick bid, especially with Silvestre De Sousa in the saddle. However, it may be best to side with Southwell winner TRICKY DICKY who looks well treated on turf and could go well at a bigger price here. Ventura Blues and Quatrieme Ami are just two others to consider.

A number of these look to have chances, so CLASSIC PURSUIT receives what can only be a tentative vote. The six-year-old is a past C&D winner, he ran well off the same mark at Redcar last time and has powerhouse jockey Silvestre De Sousa taking over in the plate. Oriental Splendour was only beaten half a length on bottomless ground at Pontefract last week and should figure prominently again, while Jacob's Pillow and Ebitda are others to note.
