ISTIKSHAF found one too strong when second at Yarmouth last month, and having put some ground between him and the rest, and with the winner contesting a Group 3 next time out, he looks to have the class to win this. Sea Here certainly catches the eye on pedigree, out of the first crop of Sea The Stars' progeny and by Oaks winner Look Here, and he warrants a market check, while Amood can improve for the step-up to a mile.

LARSEN BAY was well supported prior to disappointing at Wolverhampton recently, but he is given the benefit of the doubt and fancied to get off the mark on his handicap bow, now dropping back to a mile. Another one of interest on their handicap debut is Gold Class who shaped as if further would suit last time, while Roving Bunny and Cascadia both won on their latest starts and deserve respect here.

FULL DAY may have disappointed followers when fifth at a short price last time, but she looks worth another try now returning to turf and dropping back to a mile. Ejadah cost 170,000 guineas and was last seen finishing down the field in an ultra-competitive maiden at Glorious Goodwood. He could be on the premises dropped to this grade after a break, while Groovejet is entitled to come on for the experience gained on her Newmarket debut last month.

Godolphin horses in maidens at Nottingham go notoriously well at this time of year and HAWKER has shaped like a horse with a nice future in two starts for Charlie Appleby. It was Saeed bin Suroor who landed this prize 12 months ago, but he's not represented this time around and Appleby's Street Cry gelding displayed improvement when picking up a silver medal at Lingfield last time. Proximate is an obvious threat, though appeared to have plenty going for him when beaten at cramped odds of 8-13 at Hamilton latest, while Thorpe completes the shortlist.

FENNELL BAY could be answer to this highly competitive handicap. Mark Johnston's charge warmed up for this with a pleasing Wolverhampton spin eight days ago and is expected to be ridden prominently reverting to turf. A decent Haydock third over 1m4f three starts ago, he is taken to gallop his rivals into submission and score at the expense of course runner-up Amaze and recent Epsom scorer Weapon Of Choice.

DA'QUONDE justified favouritism when appreciating similar ground at Chester last month and, freshened up after a break, a 4lb rise in the weights looks fair. Graham Lee is called upon for the ride and another bold display looks to be on the cards, but keep one eye on Master Bond, who is forgiven his latest Hamilton performance over 6f. Others to note include Ruby's Day and C&D winner Monsieur Jamie.

GOWANHARRY has been running consistently well this year (winning twice) and shades the verdict in a competitive handicap. She ran right up to her best when a close-up fourth in a 24-runner sprint at Ayr last time and should give another good account despite racing off 2lb higher. Towbee was caught late on over 6f at Hamilton latest and warrants plenty of respect dropping back in trip, while Sharaarah and Flash City are others to note.

WINDFORPOWER has impressively notched up Musselburgh/Newcastle double recently (both over the minimum trip) and, although a 5lb rise will obviously make life tougher, he is taken to strike again whilst the iron is hot. Passionada has definite claims lining up off 1lb lower when a creditable fourth in stronger company at Haydock, while Our Diane, Tuibama and Beauty Pageant are also worth a look.
