Terry's Tip ran a blinder in a hot sales race at Newmarket last time and a reproduction now back in maiden company will make him very hard to beat. His draw in stall two probably isn't ideal though and he could be vulnerable at the likely odds. Actabou and Melt are also drawn low and perhaps the interesting newcomer TO BUBBLES could be the one to side with, particularly if the market speaks in her favour.

CARADOC PLACE shaped with more promise at Goodwood last time and with the underfoot conditions in his favour, he is taken to get off the mark in this competitive nursery. Rough Rock and Kaldoun Kingdom are others to consider, while should the far side have any advantage, Stage Acclaim could be the one to capitalise now tried in blinkers for the first time.

After The Show ran well from a bad draw here last week but he doesn't look to have fared much better here either. Tamino is likely to make another bold bid in the hands of Ryan Moore, but the vote goes to last week's C&D runner up STEEL BLUE. Again well berthed in stall 13, he has the assistance of the title-seeking Seb Sanders in the saddle and looks to face his optimum conditions here. The other thing in his favour is that any further rain, which is forecast, won't hinder him.

This may have attracted a small field, but each of the septet has something to recommend them and it may not be as clear cut as the market might indicate. Market Forces is clearly a filly on the upgrade and has to be feared, but both Highland Legacy and Aphorism won well last time and won't make life easy. Throw in the course specialist SPHINX and it should be a race to savour, with marginal preference for the latter, who is three from three at this track and who should stay this trip these days.

Andaman Sunset has looked well worth a try at this longer trip and he is sure to go well for the Geoff Wragg stable. An official rating of 80 sets a fair standard here and plenty of these aren't going to come into their own until next season. One possible exception is CRAIGSTOWN, who is surely better than he showed at Newcastle last time and comes from an in-form stable that have won this race in three of the last four seasons.

Aladdins Cave is a fascinating newcomer from a stable that are going well at present and has to be respected. A son of The Queen's top-class mare Flight Of Fancy, the market should guide as to the confidence behind him. Godolphin do very well here though and the one to be on could be ABYDOS, who has done enough to think he has a race in him and who sports cheekpieces for the first time here.

Paddywack returned to winning ways last time and is feared, but his draw won't make life easy and both No Time and POLAR FORCE are preferred. The selection is useful when getting his conditions and looks to have plenty in his favour here. Of the remainder, the enigmatic Briery Lane could prove best of the rest in a tricky puzzle for punters.
