GOLDEN JEFFREY has impressively notched up a bumper double at Ayr and Kelso and, providing the four-year-old jumps fluently on his hurdling debut, he could extend his winning sequence. An Fear Ciuin has twice finished in the money here recently and is likely to be on the premises again, while Air Squadron and Picture Painter are others to keep an eye on.

MAGIC MONEY has been in cracking form and produced a career best performance when runner-up in Listed company at Cheltenham last time. The third has since franked that form and she could prove a tough nut to crack in this lesser event. Dr Moloney lines up off the same mark as when third over C&D latest and he warrants plenty of respect in a first-time visor, while Always On The Run is unlikely to be far away either.

SALTO CHISCO remains nicely treated in this sphere (3lb higher over fences) despite being raised 3lb for his game Kempton success and he will be well fancied to follow up. Attest has defied odds of 14/1 and 20/1 to score at Stratford and Warwick respectively and he won't give up on the hat-trick without a fight, while handicap debutant Mr Grumpy adds further spice to the contest.

Vosne Romanee is best treated at these weights and holds obvious claims on his first start over fences, but it might pay to side with the past chase experience of CHITU. He produced a career best performance when landing an Ayr handicap on his first start for Patrick Griffin in April and also boasts winning form at this venue. Colla Pier is another interesting contender having won on the Flat at Dundalk when last sighted.

UPSWING put together back-to-back victories at Ffos Las and Cheltenham in April and, even after a 6lb rise, remains well treated on his best form and may be able to complete a treble. Fellow hat-trick seeker Beeves is proven under these conditions and is unlikely to be far away at the finish, while Gordon Elliott's raider Rightdownthemiddle cannot be left out of calculations. Improving novice Lord Ballim has won on four of his last five starts and could also take a hand.

THE CALLER was disappointing for Warren Greatrex last time out but has plenty of scope for improvement and is bred to do quite well in future, given that the six-year-old is closely related to handy chase/hurdle winner Cogry. A short break might have done him good and the son of Yeats can account for Dubai Devils, who looks sure to be supported in the betting with Richard Johnson booked, and Johnny Go, who seldom runs a bad race at this venue.

Gordon Elliott's fine record at this venue means his Arizona Bound warrants the utmost respect on his NH debut, but preference is for SPECIAL PREP who has shown more between the flags. The five-year-old recorded a point-to-point double in April and, also representing a yard that do well here, a successful first outing under Rules could be on the cards. Nando was well backed for his debut at Newcastle in November and although he didn't reward that support, he still ran a decent race in fourth and must be respected.
