Beast Of Belstane was pulled up on his debut over hurdles here last month and arrives with doubts hanging over his head, so Gordon Elliott is fancied to continue his fine form at this venue with CARRIE DES CHAMPS. A past course scorer, the five-year-old was beaten at odds-on here in June but has since made up for that at Southwell and wasn't disgraced in a more competitive contest at Bellewstown 11 days ago. Fyfin Patsy may struggle but did win between the flags in May.

David Pipe is 7-22 with his runners at Perth in the last five seasons and recent Sedgefield winner STREAM LADY could prove tough to stop. A 4lb rise doesn't look too harsh and the six-year-old won't mind this slight drop in distance now under David Noonan. Chanceiton has found just one too good the last twice and could add to his account soon, while Ballycrystal Court claimed an overdue success at Market Rasen three weeks ago and is another to note.

HOLY MOTIVATION has just found one too good the last twice and deserves a change of fortune under Richard Johnson. The six-year-old is capable of winning off this mark of 104, and looks to have been located a suitable opening to strike on ground that should suit. Mighty Thunder likes it here and was in solid form prior to a 137-day absence, while Green Zone and Lord Ballim are also fancied to perform creditably.

CREADAN GRAE bids to notch a track-and-trip hat-trick and although he's rated 12lb higher than when scoring here when last sighted in July, it is possible there may be further improvement forthcoming in retained cheekpieces. Indian Temple won here in June and could appreciate the return to fences, having run below his best over hurdles here last time. Le Musee is no forlorn hope for a place.

Duck Egg Blue refused to race on the Flat at Hamilton 10 days ago but makes some appeal on her preceding novice hurdle victory at Southwell last month. Of more interest for win purposes, however, is LAKE BAIKAL, who showed promise in three maiden and novice starts here and could show up well off an opening mark of 102. Instingtive is rated 5lb lower than when scoring over fences at Carlisle in April and could also finish on the premises.

AMALFI DOUG won effortlessly here over 2m4f latest and is yet to finish outside of the first two home in five starts since joining Keith Dalgleish, winning three times. He is open to more improvement over fences and is worth sticking with for now. Mustmeetalady was a track-and-trip winner latest and is only 7lb higher, so heads the list of dangers from Soupy Soups.

ARAKAN QUEST wasn't beaten far on his sole point-to-point start and has followed that up with two creditable efforts under Rules in bumpers. A decent third at Downpatrick on his return from a break in June, he improved for the fitting of a tongue-tie here latest and a reproduction of that second-placed effort may well suffice. Approve The Move performed well at Sligo on debut and Duty Calls also makes some appeal.
