MR TALLYMAN, starting to look exposed, is unlikely to get a more straightforward opportunity to get off the mark. Only ever battling for second place here last time behind effortless winner Dumitas, that effort still sets the standard and he's afforded another chance. Dancing Gizmo was only a couple of lengths away in fourth and should be in the shake-up with improvement anticipated. That'll Do Nicely is fit from the Flat and Wild Geese a possible improver but Glimmer Star is the likeliest threat after showing promise in an Irish bumper last time for the top trainer at the track.

The winning distance was only a length but it was a question of Paul Carberry at his absolute cheekiest when BRAVE BEAUTY obliged hard held here last month. There's no reason why she'll not be equally effective down in trip and should comfortably confirm placings with Bob's Ticket, a solid third that day. Green Mining looks a more interesting alternative, Tim Vaughan's Irish import having looked a fair sort in this grade on both outings for the Welsh handler. Loch Dhu has taken advantage of lowly handicap marks the last twice and merits a shortlist spot back in novice company.

Manger Hanagement will be popular after a recent course success but that win, allied to his connections, might just make the market for a couple of others with equally appealing credentials. Step forward OH SO BEAUTIFUL, who finally confirmed some of her potential when staying on strongly to score at Cartmel latest. She should relish this step up in trip and is open to significant improvement off a feasible mark for her handicap bow. Lewlaur Supreme fell last time when travelling well enough and a previous C&D success suggests he'll play a role. Gulf President and Winter Alchemy are respected.

PEACHEY MOMENT has done nothing but improve for the Nicky Richards team since landing a handicap chase here in late April, completing his hat-trick when returned to this venue early last month. He has displayed a fine attitude to his work and whilst the assessor will eventually have his say, the gelding still makes most appeal despite a rocketing handicap mark. Scotch Warrior battled on well to score here recently with Steel Magnate four lengths away in third. However, the Irish raider is now 13lb better off and can reverse placings. Soubriquet is not discounted from calculations either.

Four of the sextet represent Irish connections and NOW THIS IS IT can get the job done for the Crawford yard. The gelding matured into a useful hurdler before being sent over the larger obstacles the last twice, scoring easily at Cartmel before being involved in a controversial swerving finish here with subsequent winner, Pure Faith. He can go one better. Cottage Oak, one of three Elliott representatives, looks the main threat over what looks his ideal trip, although Fool's Wildcat cannot be discounted if delivering his best. Interestingly, Golden View is sent chasing straight from the bumper arena.

Cool Baranca is the only one with recent winning form but has plenty on her plate conceding weight all round. Nathan Moscrop's claim will help and she should go well but stable companion, ENDEAVOR, makes more appeal on the back of recent efforts here and at Market Rasen. The Selkirk gelding, seemingly unfancied on both occasions, displayed an improved level of form and is worth chancing in an open contest. Benluna also stepped up on recent efforts last time when hunting up Parson's Punch, while the consistent Laybach has claims off a lowly perch.

JIVE MASTER made a stylish bumper debut when demolishing his field at Newton Abbot last month. It is questionable what he actually beat but it was an impressive performance and he looks the sort to follow in the immediate future. Incas Article followed up a successful bumper debut when fourth in a decent Bellewstown contest in terms of quality but which was run at a ludicrous canter for far too long. The Irish raider could be far better than the formbook indicates and looks a massive threat. Blazin White Face, third here behind Atlanta Falcon last month, completes the shortlist.
