The betting market could prove a good guide here as Olly Murphy looks to have three solid chances. Aidan Coleman partners No Risk Des Flos and he warrants plenty of respect having won two of his last three starts, but AUDITORIA gets the vote in receipt of 24lb. She was only three-parts of a length behind a useful Harry Whittington inmate (since placed in Grade 3 company) on her hurdling debut at Hereford in February and normal improvement could make her tough to beat. Fabrique En France makes up the Murphy squad, while City Derby and Coolkill are other interesting players.

Irish raider Ensel Du Perche might appreciate the decent ground on offer here and it would come as no surprise to see him run a big race, but FLETCH shades the verdict on his handicap debut. He comfortably justified skinny odds over 2m at Uttoxeter last time and might improve for both stretching out in distance and the application of a tongue-tie. Better ground could also be a help to him too. Donladd wasn't winning out of turn at Carlisle and merits shortlist inclusion, with Quick Draw and Kildimo others to watch out for.

ISAAC WONDER ran a blinder at Newbury last time, his first outing since fitted with blinkers (worn again today) and having undergone wind surgery, and he makes lots of appeal lining up off the same mark. Licklighter is entitled to improve for his comeback fourth at Carlisle and will likely be produced with a late run here under Richie McLernon. He and the dropped-in-class Sao look to be the main dangers.

PISTOL WHIPPED benefited from a change of tactics when making every yard of the running at Plumpton and he appears likely to get a similar lead on this occasion. Defi Sacre has stepped forward since moving up in trip on his last couple of starts and his overall consistency gives him every chance of being in the mix, while Niven is respected having bumped into a well-handicapped type at Haydock last time.

ELF DE RE didn't run too badly when sixth at Haydock in February and he makes plenty of appeal having had a wind operation, along with the application of first-time cheekpieces. The seven-year-old was dropped 2lb for that recent effort and is also unexposed for a test of stamina. Big Penny has enjoyed a fine campaign and could have more to offer up in distance, while others to note include Steal A March and Present Chief.

BENNY'S SECRET returned from over a year off the track when third over an inadequate trip at Kelso last month and the 11-year-old is entitled to have benefited from that outing with the handicapper also dropping him 3lb. Hedgeinator bounced back to form when runner-up at Newton Abbot earlier in the month and a repeat of that performance would see him enter calculations, along with Thomas Todd.

CANCAN put in the best effort of her career so far when a close third at Carlisle last month and could further build on that here under Henry Brooke. The five-year-old looks open to the most improvement in this field and is preferred ahead of Calliope, who is a past C&D winner and returned to form when third at Kelso. She was also due to appear here on Wednesday. Wor Verge is consistent and could prove best of the remainder.

MR MELDA put in an improved performance when fourth in a competitive race at Chepstow earlier this month and could have been let in lightly off 103 on handicap debut for Tom Lacey. The Fame And Glory gelding enjoyed dropping in trip last time and also seems to like decent ground. Effet Special has all-important track form and could bounce back now wearing first-time cheekpieces, while The Herds Garden isn't getting any younger but shaped well when third at Sedgefield five weeks ago.
