OFF THE JURY had wind surgery prior to his disappointing handicap debut at Haydock, and again since, and the return to this sort of distance can help get him back on track. His rating of 126 helps set a good standard along with Newbrook Diamond, who has bumped into some smart novices in Ireland, although the blinkers didn't really help him at Fairyhouse last time. Gee Force Flyer made the frame in Sandown's EBF Final, but that came off a mark of 116 so he likely has to step forward again.
If OFF THE JURY can bounce back from a disappointing run last time out, he'll prove potent here over ground he likes. Gee Force Flyer, however, arrives having never finished out of the top three under Rules, and having one his only point-to-point start. With ground and distance in his favour, he certainly shouldn't be ruled out. Newbrook Diamond, meanwhile, who can handle any ground and has been quietly progressing, bar a couple of wide-margin mid-field finishes, could exist as a danger if he's having a going day.

Walking On A Dream showed his appreciation for the drop back in trip when easily accounting for two Ayr rivals. This is more competitive, especially off a 5lb higher figure, so a chance is taken on IT'S HARD TO KNOW. The Ben Pauling-trained seven-year-old was a good novice hurdler and has been given another break since a chasing debut fourth at Aintree that offered encouragement. Find A Fortune was a good way ahead of Karafon at Downpatrick and warrants consideration on his handicap chase bow, while Barlovento is in with a shout.
WOLFBURG has every reason to score a hat trick here. He arrives having gone up in the weights, but not insurmountably. Walking On A Dream, however could remain competitive given he too hasn't been too far increased in the weights despite winning over today's trip and code last time out. Aintree's loss is Perth's gain as NO DRAMA THIS END bids to atone for his Cheltenham flop. So good in a couple of Grade 2s before completing a hat-trick in the Challow, Paul Nicholls' grey was all the rage for the Turners but never really gave his supporters much hope. He was a late withdrawal from the recent Grand National meeting, but can at least sign off his campaign on a confidence-boosting high. Kazansky also struggled at the Festival, pulling up in the Albert Bartlett, but his previous Grade 2 Limerick victory and second at the DRF are evidence that he has plenty of class. His stablemate Sept Etoiles sprung a big surprise at Fairyhouse, although there was no fluke about it and he deserves his place in the line-up.
A line should be drawn through NO DRAMA THIS END's run in the Grade 1 Turners Novices' Hurdle, where he was hampered at the start and met trouble in running. Rather, his three wins this season leading up to that, one of which came at Grade 1 level, should be cause for encouragement and, though relatively inexperienced at the trip, he's entitled to run well today. Tormund Giantsbane steps up in grade but arrives after securing a novice hurdle at Doncaster by a whopping 24 lengths. What's more, he has the potent Dan/Harry Skelton combination in his favour. Back on what's likely softer ground, however, Kazansky should be permitted another chance, not least as he returned runner-up on his penultimate start, which was at Grade 1 level during the Dublin Racing Festival, and he won at Grade 2 level before that at Limerick over Christmas.

Having made it no further than the third fence when one of the leading fancies for the Grand National, PANIC ATTACK is likely to prove a warm order now dropping into Listed company. Dan Skelton's mare bagged the Paddy Power/Coral Gold Cup double earlier in the season and should take all the beating if in a similar vein of form. Last year's promoted Grand National Trial winner Apple Away took this prize in 2024 and may serve the most resistance to the selection, ahead of Shecouldbeanything.
PANIC ATTACK runs not long after falling in the Grand National, but likes the ground and this trip seems a better suit than the National marathon. Shecouldbeanything has won at this grade, but that was back in November 2024 and she hasn't recorded a victory since, so certainly has something to prove. For Apple Away, winning today would mark the end of an even longer time between drinks (her last win came when she secured this prize in April 2024), though she has finished in the first four in all but one start since and comes here fresh, having not had an outing since the autumn.

COUP DE COEUR did little wrong when finding only a progressive rival too strong in a series final at Carlisle and a 2lb nudge up the ratings may prove to be lenient. Heltenham lifted his second Greatwood Gold Cup on his penultimate start, although he would make more appeal over further. With that in mind, a bigger danger may emerge from Sunnyvilla, whose stamina appeared stretched when fourth over 2m4f at Newcastle.
While he carries no small amount of weight, COUP DE COEUR landed an impressive 19-length victory at Sedgefield on his penultimate start, in which he bounced back to form, and followed that up with a placed effort last time out when only three lengths off the winner. Sunnyvilla may have only seen off three rivals when he won at Uttoxeter two starts back but he's competitive in the weights, while Heltenham seemed to relish a step down from Graded level when winning at Newbury on his penultimate start but will need to overcome an underwhelming run last time out.

KELLS PRIORY showed more promise on his second start for Olly Murphy when fourth at Wincanton and it wouldn't be a huge surprise if this meeting has been the target for the nine-year-old. C&D winner Maillot Blanc finished third at Kelso last time and is likely to be in the mix along with Maura Jeanne, who kept on well to fill the runner-up spot at Carlisle.
CK O'MARA needs to demonstrate the win on his penultimate start was no fluke, as he has shown little before or since, but remains competitively handicapped and could come up with the goods again on this ground and distance. Blue Indigo has yet to get his head in front but runs off just 79 and was placed earlier this year, so could be worth of a throw of the dice, especially when a good run (she decanted the jockey late on) at Newcastle on his penultimate start is taken into account. Maillot Blanc needed the run when second last time out and could build on that to run well again today, stepped up in trip.
