JUSTHEONEFORYOU didn't get home over 3m last time and this big drop in trip should be right up his street. His best effort to date over timber came on debut over 2m4f when he was placed in this class and he looks open to plenty of improvement. Classic Moon has been showing some promise in Ireland and has reasonable bumper form. He looks the main danger, while Skipping Chapel has some ability but has been inconsistent over hurdles so far.

MARODIMA has been impressive this season and can land another decent payday. He won the Henry VII chase at Sandown before Christmas in fine style before finishing ninth in the Arkle at Cheltenham. He's since bounced back to winning ways at Wincanton and is best over this trip. Modicum was beaten 10 lengths by the high-class Tidal Bay at Aintree over this trip and is open to improvement. He's a danger but has a few pounds to find with the selection.

GUNS AND BUTTER wasn't beaten far at Newcastle last time and can land his first win here. He was coming back from a break and should strip much fitter today over what looks an ideal trip. Another Ambition comes from canny connections but has shown very little on the racecourse so far, while fellow Irish raider Winter Star was well backed last time and has the better form in the book.

STAR BEAT has winning form in a better class than this and gets the nod in an open race. He ran right up to his best over 3m at Newcastle last time and gives the impression that this step up in trip won't be a problem. Rathowen has the ability to win this if repeating his fine second at Ayr last week. He stays but can be frustrating, so the danger may be Kings Rock who has really improved on his past two runs.

AMAZING VALOUR doesn't win very often but he was a revelation when upped to this trip at Exeter last time. He stayed every yard and scored with something up his sleeve. He wouldn't want a lot of rain but can run a big race for Peter Bowen. Hello Bud has done nothing but improve over these marathon trips but may be a little high in the handicap now. He's sure to go well but the main danger could be Finzi, who is consistent over long distances.

BILLESEY was just beaten in a three-way photo at Cheltenham last time and can go well again. He's already got three wins to his name this season and seems best over this sort of trip and handles any going. Native Coll is in good form but needs a bit of cut in the ground. He's on the short-list along with Kalmo Bay who has done nothing wrong this season. He won well at Musselburgh over this distance and should go well.

DASTARDLY DICK is clearly the pick of those to have seen a racecourse. He won without breaking sweat on his debut at Taunton last time and the only doubt is whether he will handle today's quicker ground. Heart O' The West has done well enough on his two starts so far and was a close-up third at Ayr last time. A repeat of that would see him in the shake-up again.
