DEGOOCH made a winning start to life over fences when scoring by 12 lengths at Bangor, and as long as his jumping holds up, he can prove too strong for these rivals. Moss Street looks best placed to throw down the gauntlet to the selection after hacking up over hurdles at Downpatrick. That ought to have done his confidence plenty of good and he looks an attractive alternative. Explained has a few questions to answer after flopping in handicap company, but perhaps he can do better if getting a faster surface here.

BADGED was ahead of two subsequent winners when finishing runner-up at this track recently and deserves a try now stepped up in trip. Book Of Excuses looks a danger after getting his head in front in a weak event at Worcester and did win over this distance in his pointing days, so his stamina looks assured. Apachee Prince has built on the promise he showed in NH Flat company with a couple of decent placed efforts and is entitled to improve for the experience.

ULTRA LIGHT got her head in front for the first time over timber at Bangor and looks the one to side with now switched to fences with her confidence buoyed. Gleann Na Ndochais ran a decent race to finish third at this track when last sighted and a reproduction of that effort may be enough for him to earn a third victory under Rules, while 17-length hurdles scorer Jawaab deserves closer market inspection now trying his luck over the bigger obstacles. Forget And Forgive is an interesting Irish raider and Roc De Prince can do better with his sights lowered.

Mawaqeet hinted at a return to form when narrowly denied at Bangor last week and he may have too much class considering he was purchased for $525,000 as a yearling by former connections. He is reluctantly passed over for SEISMIC, though, as he was just touched off over track and trip before disappointing at Sligo last time and the return to this track can spark a revival in form. The Chief Villain returns to the trip that he finished third over at this venue two starts ago and this yardage may elicit a positive response.

HERO DE VILLENEUVE goes up 9lb for scoring by seven lengths over this C&D but still looks unexposed over three miles and is expected to defy the handicapper with a follow-up victory. Bless The Wings was sent off favourite for that race but was pulled up, so it is best to check the market for a steer on his chances. His Excellency could be the biggest danger as he was ahead of a future winner when runner-up to a decent yardstick at Market Rasen and can remain competitive off the same mark.

Super Collider goes up 5lb for success over track and trip and may be capable of following up with his confidence boosted. However, the suspicion is that he may be vulnerable to an improver like C&D winner POLITENESS, who bids for a hat-trick after scoring by nine lengths at this venue in novice handicap company and can continue on a upward trajectory with victory here. Drunken Counsel hasn't shown much since landing a Clonmel bumper but simply cannot be ruled out for leading connections, while City Line switches back to hurdles after showing promise when runner-up over fences at Uttoxeter.

Blinkers seemed to do the trick for Monita Bonita when she scored by 10 lengths at Cartmel and a bold follow-up bid can be expected if the headgear has unlocked her potential. This does look tougher, though, and perhaps REV UP RUBY is worth a try as she was narrowly denied by Solway Sam over track and trip, and that runner performed well off his new mark when second next time out. Top Chief needs to bounce back from a disappointing effort at Limerick but has enjoyed success at this track in the past and can't be ruled out.
