Uneven Line has ability but this trip might be on the short side. Cheery Martyr is consistent and could go close while a chance can be given to hurdling debutant Arctic Moss, three times a bumper winner. Preference, however, is for STAFF NURSE, who has been in good form on the Flat. She ran well on her hurdling debut, though and could be good enough to take this.

Moscow Dancer tends to make jumping mistakes but he's won twice over fences and will appreciate the drop back in trip. Dawton did enough on his chasing debut to come into consideration but more impressive was KID'Z'PLAY, a more than useful sort on the Flat. He won with ease over C&D on his chasing debut and should be able to follow up here.

Christmas Parties In The Nelson Stand Novices' Handicap Hdle

It's worth taking a chance on the fitness of GLINGER, who hasn't raced for 11 months but has scored five times over fences and is well weighted on his best hurdles form. Supply And Fix, disqualified for taking the wrong course over C&D, has plenty of weight now and the consistent Kyle Of Lochalsh looks the one for the forecast.

Prestige Scotland Handicap Chase

Celtic Boy won over 2m4f at Worcester but is up 16lb today. Emperor Ross is another with plenty of weight but Glenfarclas Boy isn't badly treated. This should go, however, to Irish raider OH MY LORD; an easy winner on his chasing bow. A bad blunder cost him his chance at Aintree last time but, off the same mark, he can make amends.

5

16:20 Perth (Class E) (5YO plus)

Possextown is an improving sort who should go well on his handicap debut. Don Valentino and York Rite are others with chances but this should go to PLENTY COURAGE, a winner over hurdles last time out. Before that he was just beaten over fences at Carlisle and, with his confidence boosted and handily weighted, he can make amends here.

Gg.com Betting Exchange Handicap Hurdle

VINCENTIO won over 2m5f at Warwick last month. He's up 9lb but ran well over 3m at Uttoxeter last time off a similar mark and is worth another chance today. Ben Britten scored at Hexham last time out but may be anchored by another 6lb and the consistent No Sam No makes more appeal for the forecast despite the lack of a run this year.
