This looks a good opportunity for RICH IDENTITY to get off the mark at the second attempt having ran with good promise on debut when behind a decent sort of Sir Michael Stoute's in Regal Reality and he has the advantage of Silvestre De Sousa in the plate. Chantresse can take a step forward from her debut at Haydock where she finished fourth to Pulitzer, while Lifeboat will appreciate this more conventional track than he encountered at Epsom.

TAMKEEN was far from disgraced when fifth over this trip on Yarmouth on debut and is expected to step up on that effort and take closer order now he has the benefit of the run behind him. Picture No Sound promises to be suited by this stiffer test, while Three Saints Bay has place claims if running to his rating now stepped back up in trip. Hello My Sunshine is another with place claims based on official ratings.

Ritasun is a rare runner on the flat up north for Harry Whittington and deserves plenty of respect, while Miningrocks was second in this contest last season and seldom runs a bad race at this venue for Declan Carroll. Maraakib is another who likes it here, but this can go the way of RITA'S MAN. The Hannon team boast an excellent record at the Teesside track, and this three-year-old should appreciate first-time blinkers and the addition of Silvestre De Sousa to the saddle.

Richard Fahey enjoys targeting these contests and DARKANNA looks an ideal candidate for this having posted a career best when fifth to Clemmie in the Cheveley Park last Saturday at Newmarket. The daughter of Dark Angel doesn't need to improve on that effort to take this valuable prize. Never Back Down hasn't been out since winning a novice race at Leicester in April but looks to have been saved for this contest, while others worthy of consideration include Red Roman, Flying Sparkle, and Green Fortune.

Charlie Hills has found JALLOTA the ideal opportunity to earn his first victory since his victory in a French Group 3 last year. The six-year-old has run well in multiple Group/Listed events this year and that includes a third-placed finish in a Group 2 last time out. Don't Touch and Yattwee are other older horses who merit consideration in this event but the main threat to the selection is likely to be Lahore. The three-year-old was slightly disappointing in a French Group 3 two starts ago but bounced back to form with an eye-catching victory in a Doncaster handicap last month.

Tim Easterby boasts a strong hand here launching a four-pronged assault and FATHER BERTIE could be the pick of them given he's back on an attractive mark and has only finished outside of the places once in five starts over C&D, winning three times. Khamaary is a player on the pick of her form, while Off Art won the Leger Legends race at Doncaster latest but has more on his plate with stable companion Ventura Secret boasting sound claims under a nice weight.

ROAD TO DUBAI's fourth at Goodwood last time out can be upgraded after he was unlucky in running and a bold bid can be expected here from George Scott's charge. Maulesden May is a past course and distance winner who is better than what she showed last time out, while Dream Machine won with a bit in hand at Epsom last time out and looks set to be ridden patiently by Silvestre De Sousa once more.

Lydiate Lady made all to win over this trip at Catterick last time and is expected to give a good account on the front end. Narrow preference, however, is for distance winner NUNS WALK, who appeared to win a shade cosily over 6f here last time and is expected to remain competitive following a 2lb rise. Foxtrot Knight is worth a market check now eased in grade as he's now 7lb lower than when striking at Ripon in April.
