Saeed Bin Suroor boasts a 29 per cent strike-rate at this venue over the last five years so Hurriya must be respected, but she showed little at Southwell on her debut 20 days ago and of more interest is LADY MANDY. Richard Fahey's charge stayed on well for third once the penny dropped on her introduction over 6f at Nottingham and shaped like the experience will do her the world of good. Takealookatmenow is an obvious contender after narrowly failing over C&D latest, although Headstight has had plenty of chances now.

Regal Lady has been knocking on the door on polytrack, including on her handicap debut off this mark latest, while last-time-out Musselburgh scorer Wake Up Sioux is expected to go close again having only gone up 1lb in the ratings. A 2lb rise seems fair for Uncle Timmy following his narrow Catterick success but slight preference is for WISH AGAIN, who has shown plenty of speed in defeat over 6f recently and, off the same mark, the lightly-raced Dandy Nicholls inmate will relish a return to the minimum trip today.

FUTURE SECURITY shaped with promise when, after travelling well for a long way, he finished third over 1m at Newcastle first time out, form which has been boosted by the 11th scoring since. Richard Fahey's charge is taken to put that experience to good use today, although he could be given plenty to think about by Touch Gold, who also shaped like the experience would do him the world of good when fifth at Haydock on debut, and Zaeem, placed on both starts to date. Mahmood Al Zarooni has his string in fine form so his newcomer, Oxbow, is accorded the utmost respect.

TRUE TO FORM relished the drop in trip when readily landing a handicap over the extended 1m1f at Wolverhampton nine days ago and, with that form being boosted by the runner-up's subsequent success, George Baker's charge is hard to oppose as he drops into selling company for his turf return. Christmas Light landed a C&D handicap in July but her recent efforts leave her with something to prove and the biggest threat appears to be Chilledtothebone, who can boast a victory and a second in this grade from her last two starts.

Damascus Symphony arrives on the back of a soft-ground double but faster ground and a further 7lb hike are against her today and of more appeal is SINGZAK, whose two-length opening success over 1m4f on quick ground at Catterick latest confirms he is moving in the right direction. A 5lb rise doesn't look harsh given there could be more to come, especially as he steps up in trip today, and he will be tough to reel in if allowed an easy lead. Body Language has found only one too good on three of his last four starts and should figure again, likewise Lady Barastar.

All eyes will be on the returning RED LOVER, who signed off his three-race juvenile campaign with creditable placings in two 7f maidens that have worked out very well. His subsequent absence is a slight concern but he clearly has plenty of ability and gets the nod ahead of Pulsatilla, who, despite carrying 3lb overweight and running green throughout, stayed on well for third over 7f on her debut at Thirsk in July and is an interesting prospect herself. Menha rates best of the remainder.

Following a C&D double, Secret City ran too bad to be true at Newcastle last time out and it would be no surprise to see him bounce back on his return to this venue. He has no margin for error off his current mark, however, and the safer option appears to be FAIR BUNNY, who did well to pick up the silver medal over an inadequate 5f last time out and can make the most of a return to 6f if in the same mood today. Tombellini's good effort in defeat at Catterick off this mark last month suggests he could be ready to strike soon.

Arch Walker, having his first start for John Weymes today, has been threatening to follow up his April success at Newcastle ever since and looks sure to give another good account. The handicapper appears to be just in control, however, and he may have to play second fiddle to CHEYENNE RED, who ended a long losing run at Ayr earlier this month and, despite a 3lb rise, can strike again while the iron is hot. Sonny Red continues to tumble down the ratings and is beginning to look very well treated now.
